Runway Mishaps

Sabina Lobova dropped her little purse in the middle of the runway after a little collision with Harleth Kuusik (6:08) at Marc by Marc Jacobs. After the finale, the designers both pointed it out, then scrambled to pick it up (10:18).

Even dressed in a robe and flats, Molly's walk still possesses as much grace as a quarterback. But who knows, Karlie started out with her famous death stares and the wobbly sleepy walk. Then she polished it into her panther stalk. Maybe Molly can improve and give us something in the future?

I personally consider Karlie's current slithery stomp a major runway mishap as well. Especially combined with her signature smug smirk. It comes across as a total parody to me. Her closing Kors had me screaming out loud.

^ I feel the same, I still think Karlie Kloss' walk is awful, she passed to walk like a zombie to walk like a trained horse.

This.

I remember watching the Chloé S/S 2008 show, her walk was actually quite decent just this once. Back then.

So glad you're saying this, I also felt absolutely the same. Especially since she walked right after (or almost right after?) Karmen. I know People are Kind of tired of Karmen x MK, but her walk IMO fits the show so much better, so effortlessly elegant and Kind of sexy, and Carol's walk is just like that, too. Karlie looked like hard work.

What happened at the finale of Boss, btw? Edie who was first, almost ran away from the others, I'm guessing the Girl behind her had some Problems Walking in her shoes.

Problem with the shoes? Those are flat platforms, the easiest platform to walk. I have 3 pairs of heavy duty "goth" flat platforms and the only problem for the girls has to be the weight. Those are some heavy shoes, yes. But other than that, they are incredibly simple to walk. Back in my runway days I almost kissed the designers every time they gave me shoes like these. I understand a young girl having problem with heels (losing the balance etc) but platforms? Really?

This is the first time I'm seeing this Molly Bair walk. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL WORLD? How is she even allowed on a runway? I'm hard pressed to think of someone else with that horrid of a walk. That's so uncomfortable and distracting.

Also, I totally agree about Karlie's walk. I can't stand it either.

Her walk is horror.
I agree! so it's okay for Molly to walk like that because it "adds to her personality", but if a other model who walk like that then it's not okay ? Please. I didn't know about that one. We can make a excuse for every model who walks bad then. A walk like that should be banned from the runway.

Thank you!

I have no idea what Molly's like, so can't really say anything about her walk ''adding to her personality'', but I don't think I want to know what kind of a personality she must have if that walk adds to it... Her walk puts all the other awful walkers into perspective (no one can complain about the Suvis and Laras ever again!)

It's sad if this is the quality of walk required to runway these days.

Wow u guys are being kinda harsh:ermm:, especially toward a 17yr old girl in only her second season... She's certainly no Natasha Poly (then again who is:P) but she's definitely getting better the more she walks^_^. I've been following her throughout the season and imo, all she needs is a little polish. Here are so a couple of shows were she's pretty decent:flower:

I just think at Alexander Wang it was the combination of the shoes & her taking directions to literal

This! Thank you!

There is plenty to celebrate at Jean-Pierre Braganza. But the cause for celebration was almost rudely dampened when a rogue front-rower crashed the models’ curtain call, strutting alongside the girls to the end of the runway and back.

Nah, her walk is still pretty awful, but definitly better then at Alexander Wang.

It may comes off a bit harsh, but a models job, even when she is 17, is to walk down the runway. If it's bad you can expect this. There are young girls who actually can walk and women who can't. They all get critized and the ones who can walk can expect positive feedback.
Besides it's about her walk, not about her personallity or looks. That I would find harsh if someone would say that's horror.

I hope he was told off. Designers put so much hard work into their collections and they must be so proud watching the models display their designs on the runway and then some attention seeker decides it'd be funny to get up and walk with the models for a few Instagram likes, thus distracting the audience from the clothes.
