S/S 2008 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

I am thrilled to see Freja in the Ferre campaign. She definitely deserved something this season!!

Maybe Egle got GF Gianfranco Ferre, like Ali Michael did last season? If I remember correctly, it was also reported that Ali got Ferre, but it turned out to be Doutzen in the mainline ads.

David Sims only shoots for the mainline, though (And according to both earlier sources, Egle worked with Sims)

That doesn't really mean anything. When Inguna landed Dolce and Gabbana FW05, she hadn't walked for them at that point. The first show she did were after that for SS06. Sometimes you discover talent from the booking. A girl might not have been submitted to walk for that house or you didn't like her aesthetic as much as other girls who did show (but then failed to impress) and seeing her binder once more.. well, easy enough you can see to have someone impress you enough later.

You forgot to add that the nose is definitively Freja too; even from that angle .

Hmm, but wasn't it mentioned in several places (including the Major guy's own blog) that Egle had definitely booked the Ferré campaign? I hope it was "just" a last minute change then, and not a post-shoot rejection.

I think it's weird Freja's campaign is one shot only, too. Can someone refresh my memory, is that typical of GF to do a single image campaign? Either way, I'd say with how much confirmation Egle got, something bad happened.

Who knows, maybe Balenciaga will pull a 'Prada' with Jennifer in the foreground of the ads and Egle and Kori jumping in the backround. It would interesting to pair a famous actress with two virtually unknown models.
