S/S 2008 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

:woot:  :buzz: I'm so excited..Finally something for Kinga ^_^ Shame McDean is shooting it but it's better than nothing

Since I almost missed this news, I cannot wait for this either. I'm hoping that Kinga delivers and  maybe even produces a stronger ad that Han Hye Jin did a few seasons back?

^That's gonna be hard to top IMO...even when putting my personal love for Han aside, that campaign was brilliant. BUT I think that if there is one girl to top it, it should be Kinga, so YAY :D

please remember that when ads start appearing to add them to their individual threads (or create new threads)...
thanks!

Please remember to start a new thread after pictures for a campaign start rolling in :flower:

^Yep, it makes it easier for other posters to know which campaigns have already been scanned in. That way no one has to repost or ask which page the campaign is on in this thread. :flower:

okay but I remember I posted this in the posting etiquette thread:

I have a question: what about smaller campaigns? There will be hundreds of threads if the will one for every campaign, or am I overlooking something.

and the reply:

I think those should just be discussed in the S/S 2007 thread. The separate campaign threads are mostly meant for the bigger campaigns or campaigns which lead to a lot of discussion. The main reason for doing this new take on the S/S campaigns is to promote diversified and in-depth discussions. The F/W 2006 thread is so long and moves so fast the there is not so much discussion about the actual content of the campaigns.

So that's why I asked, but I don't mind if the policy is changed.

not sure if this has been posted, but natalia vodianova for diane von furstenberg s/s 08.

"Although many on the committee of Thursday night's Guggenheim gala, including Jacquetta Wheeler, Claire Bernard, and Allison Sarofim, were more than happy to model the wares of the event's sponsor, Chloé, one striking beauty stood out from the crowd in her silver column dress: Natalia Vodianova. It turned out her gown was made by Diane von Furstenberg, a woman Vodianova said she has a lot of admiration for. "I think she's one of the most beautiful women in the world. Everything she does, even the way she moves, is sensual." In fact, the Russian supermodel likes the DVF style so much she agreed to be the face of von Furstenberg's first campaign in several decades. The Spring '08 ads, which've already been shot, will appear in the February issues of major fashion magazines." from style.com

Wow that's really cool for Natalia, she's back on top and the Calvin Klien days are finally over.

I am so happy than Natalia's CK exclusive is over! Now she can do some really interesting cool work. Can't wait for her DVF ads.

morojul...please remember to credit images or they will be deleted...

mikel...you're right...
smaller campaigns should be posted here, but people have posted pics here from vuitton, longchamp and donna karan, all of which should have their own thread...

Carmen looks great on the whole in that ad but her lips are a bit awkward. Maybe it's because of too much photoshop.
