if i could get a camera i would go round the town and take pictures.. although it would be quite similar with all.. well anyways maybe i'll try someday so you would see the "mainstream" style (or the reality :D)

oh please do that if you have an opportunity!
i think it's sad that so many people think that people in finland wears either shell suits or hel-looks kind of fancy clothes (though i like most of what people are wearing in hel-looks). there are real style in the streets, though a very little, and there are also people who dress up "nicely" and stylish though they weren't super unique.

There are damn many beautiful norwegians (and scandinavians in general) out there.
I read an article once, who said the people you spotted in Norway who were overweight, probably were tourists
Makes me proud to be norwegian, especially today on our national day!

haha
I love norway, can't wait to go again and see family and other nice people :D

Haha, probably american tourists :innocent:. I've actually never seen a not-fat american tourist in Norway yet...

BUT I read in a magazine that one of three in Norway are overweight. That's hard for me to believe, as I don't see many fat people really, and I'm living in the 5th biggest city in Norway. If the magazine is true, where are them?!

Haha. Well, serious, I spend a lot of time in Oslo, and I don't see that many overweight people. Off course I see them, but not so many that it makes be believe 1 of 3 norwegians is overweight. Let's more say... like 1 of 7 is overweight. :p

I hate to admit that these pics remind me of Hel-looks...

I saw those photos at Side2, and I don't like it. IMO, they dont represent how norwegians dress in any way

^Much better, thats the typical trendy norwegian girl for you :p I love it, the first pic is lovely!

maybe they have interviewed some tourists that could say "hi" in norwegian? :D i don't know, it seems that all the statistic say the same thing

is the girl in grey pants and jacket supposed to wear louis vuitton..?

Isn't the woman in post #430 the editor in the youth mag TOPP? Anyway, I love her green bag, but the outfit in the first pic is SO average-Norwegian. Boooooring :yuk:

And that guy with the pink shoes and cap: omg. I'm deeply ashamed that someone can wear a Led Zeppelin tee in that way.

i dont think those pics look like hel-looks..there is much more individualism at hel-looks..
