^^I think either works.
Christopher Kane SS 08...the collection was inspired by cheap, B-horror films...with the grungy mixture of tattered bleached denim, dusty snakeskin, steel toed boots...you can easily picture these girls with hockey masks and blood-stained chainsaws!
Love Gareth Pugh and i think that that Luella collection is so cute like you said.
In the cutesy vain I think that Giles Decon S/S 09 is great for halloween with the pac man ghosts
I forgot how morbidly bizarre Galliano's Dior veered before it fell into Eisenhower era retreads!
Inspiring! The makeup, especially, is brilliantly horrid.
Some really good examples...I concur that Alexander Mcqueen has a penchant for disturbing, macabre, and dark presentations...One of my favs is AW1999 "The Shining", it is hauntingly creepy
I adore Olivier Theyskens early work I had a book on Fashion and death it was basically McQueen Theyskens Galliano some other great designers that I cant remember
