i wonder if she'll ever go back to serious acting… i miss the scarlett from the woody allen and independent movies. now she's this superhero movie brand where you basically lose track of what film she is exactly in now because all those movies are basically the same.

i wish i could ever see her at cannes again or something legitimate like that… :/ i was obsessed with that scarlett.

I have to say the Marvel movies are a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, but I do miss her in other movies. She had a really great run of strong performances in interesting movies between Hitchcock, Don Jon, Her and Under the Skin. She has a small role in the Coen brothers next movie, the adaptation of The Psychopath Test and if it ever gets made, The Custom of the Country should be a really good challenge for her. I think she has a good balance going on, but I would love to see her in more leading roles.. Like an offbeat comedy drama to stretch her abilities again.

"Serious acting," because of course comicbook movies are all fluff and no substance, with nothing of value to say about anything. Only independent films are allowed to say anything important about life.

Black Widow is one of the very few comicbook superheroines on our screen right now (and Disney being sexist, won't even give her toys but all 20 men have toys upon toys). I applaud Scarlett for not only going after the role, but for researching the comics themselves, and bringing those layers from the comicbooks into her interpretation. It's too bad though that her hard work is getting dismissed cuz she's doing it for an action film rather than a small budget independent film.

I love her CW wardrobe so far. I really love that wig is long again. I've missed Natasha's IM2 hair, and it's great to see it that long again.
