I don't like the look of those costumes much for Nan. I always imagined Nan to have a bit more pizzazz than that. Also, as much as I like Scarlett, I think it may take me a while to get used to the idea of her playing Nan. Although it has been a while since I read the book. I'll have to re-read it.

You're absolutley right!!! They are ripping it apart! That book was hilarious and heartbreaking and they seem to be ruining it. Nan had sass!! i'm not feeling any "sass" from the pictures.

The outfits in the movie are nothing like i imagined them and don't match the character!

That's EXACTLY how I feel. It's also why I'm taking the first chapter and using it as a monologue for my hsc drama performance, before the movie comes out. So I can think in my mind that I can act Nan the way I always imagined her when I read the book. Same with costume and all that. They've also changed her name to Annie. Why?
