Shaving versus Waxing

refering to the waxing...what do you guys use to wax? Or do you do have a professionalist have it done.

I'm pretty blonde and very lazy and spend my summers in skirts and dresses, shaving my legs every few weeks. HA! I've never waxed my legs (I never have enough $$ to go get them waxed), although I've tried an at-home wax kit for my bikini area, which was HORRIBLE. I don't think I'd mind a leg wax, though. I LOVE getting my eyebrows waxed and have to make a conscious effort to not pull out the hair on my head (I don't know why, but I think it feels great. I'm a freak!).

Basically the only time I ever worry about the hair on my legs is when I think I might get some or when I've gone more than 2 weeks w/out shaving and sense that people are staring.

I use hair removal cream from Veet (the pink one with silk) works fine with me, but when I get older I might wax.

i started waxing maybe last yr...and its just inconvinient i think
takes so long when your doing it yourself...and really hurts...but then again hair grows back much slower
but shaving is fast and easy...so i think it depends on what ur into

I love waxing. I dont think it hurts much in the legs. I wish I had time to do it.... sometimes you need to be hairless ASAP and I have to reach for the razor!
In summer time it is always harder because you need hairless legs 24/7 if you want to wear shorts/skirts. I cant wait for the hair to grow to wax again

I rather get it waxed cause I'm too lazy to shave, I pretty positive I'll wax when I'm older though. I don't think it will hurt me much because I hardly feel anything when I get my eyebrows waxed and people here are saying its less painful. I don't wear anything short if I haven't shaved in a while, which is a disadvantage cause its hot in Calif.

waxing is much cleaner
shaving makes the hair harder/thicker/darker with time

It doesn't matter which one I do, I still end up with a painful, itchy rash that doesn't go away. It's very frustrating!

So I stick to shaving..

I wax my arms, shave my legs, and use laser for my underarms & face

Ingrown hairs are a b**ch! I tend to swear in multiple languages when getting my bikini wax. I hate doing it but id rather do it than think...aww crap and shave and then get stubble burn.

Waxing or shaving?

I used to wax but out of nothing I decided to start shaving instead – I think I got too lazy to go get a wax in the beauty salon and the only difference that it made is that my armpits are not as light as they used to be (then from next week on I'm back to the beauty spa).

What are the pros and cons and what works best for you?

what helps for ingrown hair???
i have lot´s and lot´s of ingrown hair
in my legs and it do not look very beautiful.
i have tried different lotions and scrubs but
it seems like nothing works.

i really do not like waxing because
it makes my skin look even more bad
and once my skin was tattered (is this right word?)
off and bleeded like he*l.

HELP ME!
