In the case of the shoe-bbots from Post #9,199...

...absoulte Nay! No, let me repeat that... absolute Nay! My goodness... these are absoulte fails! The sandal part of it is managable except for that blunt heel. I can't really decide which picture I like more. Maybe the black/crimson/cream shoe boots are somewhat decent. Why is this a Nay? It's simple. The blunt heel style is somewhat okay. I'd rather something more solid and fun. The button detail is very manageable. But when you add an open-heel design as well as open toes, you go to awakening my dark side in disrespecting open-toe boots. Why is there a bow on the "sandal" part of the shoes? Bows are usually associated with something cute or fun. This is neither. And allow me to say this again- choose between socks + sandals. Choose ankle boots. Just don't try to merge worlds with one pair of ankle boots that have such an identity crisis as to whether to be sandals, sandals + socks, or ankle boots. I'm sorry... those are ugly. Fail. Shame on the designers. They could have lived better as ankle boots or sandals... but someone had to make them open-toe boots with a sandal design and a bow. Shame...

...Nay! The combination of straps and an open toe design kill it for me. Just looks like the boots are trying too hard to be super-chic... and falls on its face failing miserably. The wedge design is the only thing I like about those. Even still, would have been better off closed-toed and with a more feminine design. Yet another fail.

Oooh harsh...! Well I have large feet, so I have no choice but to buy from Irregular Choice because they go up to my size. Plus, I love them anyway and I ALWAYS receive compliments from them and people asking where they can buy them! :flower:

The heels fascinate me and the robot on the sole is so quirky...totally unique and fabulous! Sometimes 'uglyness' actually works!

I still think you should get them Innocent Fairy they are your feet. (and I love weird shoes)

InnocentFairy - I like the colors in the second pair. I think the "ugliness" makes them cute. It just works out that way sometimes. They're funky and unique and I sorta like them. If you get them, I'd like to see what outfit you wear with them. Yay from me.

Share your thoughts on these skinny wedges please. They're Charles by Charles David. I'm undecided about them. I'd appreciate your opinions. Thanks bunches!

So they're called "skinny wedges?" Well in the case of the skinny wedges in Post #9,217...

...Yay! I'm mostly sold on these edges. The shiny leather is lovely as well as how it accompanies the wooden base. I'd go with the brown color since there aren't a lot of shoes that I like that have a wooden base and other black colors of the shoe. A peep-toe and/or slingback design would make these even more lovely.

So tab me for "Yay!" with those wedges.
