^In order from best to worst: Gray booties - Green pumps - Black pumps

WhitleyGilbert - Yay to them both

No way I'm nay'ing these (Post #9,527). Nice two-one high-heel pump offset by the red buckle. The platform adds romantic appeal as well. These pumps are a Yay!, and there's no way I'm going to go the other way on these. Maybe I'm a bit biased to darker colors, but I'd go with the second if I wanted one of these pumps. It's still a win-win no matter which one you choose.

Now on to the three shoes in Post #9,528. First some critiques...

* Yay! to the pumps, except for the color. A lovely black or red or brown could is much better than this jade green color.
* Yay! to the mary jane-style pumps. Classic cuteness. These would be the kinds of shoes I'd compliment if I saw a femme wear these.
* Despite the dull and boring color, Yay! to the ankle booties. Try to find a more exciting color or maybe a more exciting closed-toe, non-slingback booties if you don't think these booties aren't good enough.

I must admit that I sometimes have a tough time choosing between pumps and booties. I've already singled out the first shoes, so it's down to the pumps and the booties. It wasn't until recent years to where booties like these could be showcased wearing shorter bottoms and dresses. I've seen trouser-like cuffed short-shorts being used with booties to something stylish and lovely. I would go with the second shoes with the little mary jane buckle design. You can probably find better booties than the one you posted, but I'd go with the mary jane pumps simply because I love the mary jane. A timeless design that isn't going anywhere no matter what the latest footwear trends/crazes are. But since it's snowing here right now, if I were looking for shoes right now, I'd go with the booties or maybe find some better and warmer boots to wear on a night like this!

So it's your call. I'd go with the mary jane pumps.

whitley: nay to all
ledled: nay to the two pumps, yay to the gray boots

nay to the gold anna sui's a few pages back... there's just something 'grandma' about the way they are constructed.. the round toe and the heel...

whitley leaning toward nay on the aldo shoes.. but go with the first pair if you decide on them i think...

ledled i would say yay to the grey booties and the shiny pumps (i'm thinking these pics don't give a true representation of the color?) and nay to the black with the strap...
between the booties and the pumps i would say go with whatever you think suits your friend's style more.. i think the shape of the pump is really great

Whitley, nay to both.
ledled: booties - pumps (even though I personally don't like the color too much) - peep
toes

I have to agree that I like best:
1)Gray booties
2)Green pumps
3)Black peep toes

whitley - while they look like fun shoes i can't see myself wearing them more than a few times

ledled - i only like the grey booties...

WhitleyGilbert: nay
ledled: 1&3 yay, nay for the black ones.

^ Yay I like the color but you are going to need to carefully chose your outfit to go with them

What do you think of those wedge boots?

What's the sole? It looks like it could be rubber. :( Either way it's a nay.. but I mean, in case it is rubber it's a nay plus whatever the vomiting smilie shortcut, that I can't recall, is.
