Post #9,810 features some Balenciaga open-toe boots with an open backside. You're not going to like this one... those boots are an absolute Nay! Who thought it's okay to merge chic-styled shoes with hiking-style boots? I'm sick of these open-toe boots and don't know what makes them even remotely wearable or even manageable. Hiking-type boots are supposed to be rugged and usually either meaning business or just some tough shoes. These open-toe abominations are terrible. I'd never wear these if I were a femme. I'd especially not wear these hiking open-toe boots. Not all things were meant to be chic or shouldn't be chic at all, and those Balenciagas are terrible. But hey! There's a better alternative- open-toe slingback pumps! Actual hiking boots! Get either or both of those instead of lowering your feet to these ugly things. Nay, nay, nay... dismiss these creatures from my eyes! See what happens when you try to make EVERYTHING either open-toe or peep-toed?
Okay... now from shoes (if you want to call them that) that should be buried deep into a landfill to some oxfords (Post #9,013). Not sure if you can call them oxford pumps or high-heel oxfords, but if I had to choose, I'd probably say Nay (only slightly)! The overall style of these oxford pumps isn't too much to my liking, yet I don't hate these like I did the previous shoes. I'd be happier if these shoes had a better overall style to them. You know, something more fluid and stylish. They aren't lovely enough to where I can recommend or approve these oxfords. I would have liked a more chunky heel or a more aggressive kind of look. I guess I'm thinking more of some of the loafers and tailored oxfords of the late 1990s.
So a vicious Nay to those Balenciaga eyesores, and just a slight Nay to the oxfords.
