Shopping departments other than your own-children's, opposite sex-etc-

^ I would love to steal the jacket, but it's far too warm for it here at the moment

i like your choices in women's clothes

oh yeah

fashion fashoff, i usually leave jackets like that unbuttoned but it looks good on you! i don't think it looks that aggressive - and the fit's fantastic. ^_^

yes it is a beautiful jacket  love the ruffles. is the upper arm padded with something..??

i've noticed a similar thiing when i triedmy mother's jackets..
the arms were quite narrow
but the body was a bit larger..or rounded.. hourglass..
you can feel the weird shape on your body, just standing. i almost thought it was custom-fit but i guess women's jackets are normally like that
it was uncomfortable.. but interesting.
i think Jil Sander did that with their menswear last spring.

the shoulders can be quite snug sometimes but when you find the right fit, it usually pays off. some of them even fit like little boy's jackets with a narrower, body-skimming fit which i really like.

i have helmut lang men's jeans and men's cargo pants...

i also used to wear nothing but issey miyake men's cologne...
but i got over that one...
too many wannabe stylish (not actually stylish) men started wearing it around here...
:ninja:

i have also bought scarves and big cozy sweaters from the men's dept...
:P

i'm a boyfriend's t-shirts thief, wearing them all the time, especially bands t-shirts :D

Wearing a lady's eighties wool jacket by Jaeger today . .

It has no sort of areas for the breasts which is convenient . .

I wish I could wear men's trousers but ..I can only get away with items from the boy's section.

I love boy's blazers, chinos and oxford shirts. The boy's dept is the first section I hit when I go thrifting now!

I'm known to roam the women's section for pants, tops, and jackets. I love form-fitting pants and I find some women's pants to fit my lithe legs better than men's pants. I have bought women's jeans from the Gap, and also the pleather pants from H&M. I am a jacket-wh*re and go cuckoo for a nice, well-cut blazer or interesting jacket, and many times I find these in the women's section. Also, I love a good turtleneck or sweater and I believe these two pieces are both unisex, so I sometimes buy my turtlenecks from the women's section.

I also ADORE scarves, so if I love the design or color or texture, I will buy a woman's scarf. And jewelry. Rings, bracelets, necklaces (worn as necklaces or as bracelets), brooches... I wear all of them, not at the same time of course . But any of them are fair game.

ugh i have such a dilemma with shopping in womens, the clothes fit me a lot better because i have a small frame and small hips BUT i cant get over the closures being different. like which sides jackets/cardigans close etc.. it really bothers me. i only get stuff that doesn't include closures or i guess things more "unisex"

That is definitely a pet peeve. Double-breasted jackets especially, as they close completely opposite for men and women. And button-ups as well. It depends on how much I love the piece though.
