I think they make their number and business address difficult to find for a reason. They'd likely be hounded by people who want to "work with them" or "start a collaborative project".

I can't imagine what makes it so very important. Enjoy the love and care that goes into Mr. Altieri's products!

Stopped by Alan Bilzerian's today. No CDiem on sale (sometimes he puts some pieces on sale, but not this season I guess). The SA told me something interesting. The guy who is in charge of the distressing work on the leather is leaving Altieri's group to start his own line. Could be an interesting change for things to come.

One of the women SAs at Bilzerian's was wearing some carpe boots and they looked very very hot.

Gotta get me a pair of the black ones!

Not true, he has discounted it in the past. Although the discount is not as deep as many of the other items he has there. It has gone to something like 20% off before. Even then though, most of it hangs around hahaha

For thoe of you who are Altieri fans, you should check out January's World of Interiors magazine. There is an article in it about Altieri's "garage" in Paris, with lost of pics of said garage.............very interesting and beautiful.

Also some interesting quotes from the article.......does any of this sound familiar to anyone?.....

"[MAltieri] fans correspond on the internet, recounting the epiphany of coming into contact with Altieri's "tragic" and "apocolyptic" creations for the first time (with some sartorial pilgrims so poerfully affected that they burst into tears when "petting" the leather garments".

Faust, I think it's a UK mag but I think you can get it in the US, in bigger newsagents. I think the Feb one is out now, so watch that - it was in the Jan issue.

I have the magazine, but I've didn't notice until now, too much things unreaded in my bookshell . The pics are fantastic, and the container is a truly piece of art itself.
