Continues Family of Brands-Carpe Diem, Linea, etc...

good for you!
yes the pants sound too dangerous unless they are the washed calf.
the light is reflecting too much in the pic and not easy to see the texture, but if it's the deer skin they called bobina or something, it is something they buried in the field.
anyway the jacket is special for sure.

quite the gem on yoox this morning...love the rough out stitching and the underside detail of the collar.

yoox.com

that' one scary f-ugly looking jacket!!! who's is it??? doesn't look like cdiem nor m.a+ nor any of them...

crushed...may not matter to most but the linea jacket is made from horsehide which is a sacrilige to me. stinks...because it is a fascinating garment.

reminds me of my art theory class, seeing the black/negative space instead of the literal object.

very cool, thanks runner.

i have a desire for that black and white jacket.

^ ditto, lovely images... thanks as always, runner. :flower:

you're welcome luckyme, Inaya

those images are from 2001,
which proves that his ideas and designs are usually latent for a while, and then come out at length.
it seems that the stuff that can currently be seen as avantindietro is mostly what was being developed personally by him back around the period they were doing sartoria etc, called evoluzione.
so probably there are still some things lying dormant now.

welcome eenecho

it's linea by maurizio altieri.
he tried to produce something free that was irrespective of any old fashion custom, such as man & woman, S/S & F/W, and even the categorization by item ( that's why some of them were not easy to identify. for example some would call it a coat and others a dress etc )
also at first apparently he wanted to actualize it in black or/and white.
so the setting for the earlier pilot shoot of the prototypes had been all whited although it ended up as black.
and he seems to have intended black and white only for linea,
but in actuality stores needed those colors for the other lines too naturally, so it got messed up and tented to get deviated somewhat from his ideal after all.

Thanks so much for all of these shots Runner!

Would love to see more Anatomica and Sartoria pieces/photos/construction if you are able to put them up!
