i'm very intrigued by those sew-it-yourself shoes and jersey with no neck openings... :woot:

great article..

I wonder if when you have a sartoria long sleeved tee made by Altieri, do you get to keep the toile version as well?

Anyone have an idea as to how much a long sleeved tee done via Sartoria will run? Juuuuust curious!

Altieri's place looks like a location I will definitely have to visit when I finally get a chance to go to Paris. Even my dad will appreciate the aesthetics.

^ yes... looks like carpe diem is getting more publication's interest these days. runner should've been credited in the article as the main source and of course tfs!

That sounds a bit ridiculous to me. Why would I want to cut my own neck opening? It'd probably look horrible. If I'm paying Carpe Diem their insane prices, I want them to finish making the garments.

I remember one of the Linea leather jackets like that. The neck was unfinished and when you bought it, the SA cut it to fit.

If you were to price it out, that scrap of "leftover" leather is probably worth $75 too hahahaha

A better question is, how do you try them on?

I've seen a few of these at A, with the necklines already cut. So, maybe someone did try them on?:o

That's how they sucker you into the buy. It's like phone companies giving you a phone for free but then making yousign a 2 year contract.

That 2nd leather jacket and the last breasted jacket is just :heart::heart:

Thanks again runner.

I love the striped jacket, just lovely. Not quite so keen on the other itmes, but I'm not sure the store styles these shoots so well.

Wow, the linen shirts are $1k? I thought they'd be more than that....

I like the twill cotton shirt a lot. perfection. thanks, runner.
