i hope here is the right place to ask this, i didn't want to open a new thread
i have short hair and now i want to style the front into a pony. my only problem, i have a stupid "swirl" there (i hope that makes sense. i am not english so i am not sure what the word would be, but my hair there is just not straight and now that it is short likes to stand in all directions lol) and one hairdresser once said i would never get my hair "straight" over my forehead because of that thing. i don't want to use a hair straightener though just for that one bit of hair (i'd most likely burn myself anyways )
so, does any of you have tips or tricks how to get rid off that stupid "swirl"? i'd be so grateful
i always try to straighten it if my hair is straight for the day or i'll try to just blow dry it as flat as possible but i can never fully get rid of it either

(This was my hair a couple of months ago, the sides are now a few inches longer.)
I'm thinking about a colour change from my natural dark brown but I don't really suit very light browns/ blondes or black.
I was thinking of trying a dark auburn (all over tint).
Do you think that's a good idea, or do you have a better one? Or maybe I should just stick with what I've got?
picnmix I love your hair! so cute i love the colour but if ur looking for a change maybe just go w/ a lighter brown like u said an auburn would actually be quite cute or maybe some honey coloured highlights too
okay, so I went to the Hair Salon the day after Valentine's Day...and got this! it was based off of Karolina Kurkova's hair in an editorial that I had found in a mag, while there. I then decided to cut it a bit shorter. With lots of layers of course.
really? yeah I guess the length is definitly a change.
but I like it.
I am going to be 20 this year and I needed to cut the locks a bit.
it is soo shaggy... lol
My hair has always been a middle lenght, no longer than to my shoulders. But I've decided to grow then, cause I've always wanted to have really long hair. But now I think that I look kind of boring. I'm not sure what should I do-cute them, or not? I was thinking about bangs, but I'm not sure if they would suit me and what's more I have an oily skin so it may look not good after couple of hours. What do you guys think?
(I coudn't find better photo of my recent hairstyle)
i like it as it is right now. with the few face-framing shorter strands. perhaps you could cut in some more shorter layers like that if you find long hair too boring? i don't know about bangs either. if you do go that route, i think longer bangs would look better on you.
since summer is coming, soft, pretty long hair will look good, i think.
at the same time, a clean cut all one length would help give you hair shape and definition. it really depends on what you're going for.
I honestly have no idea what to do with my hair- but I am in desperate need of a change. Its naturally wavy and fine. I included one pic of it with a straight style. The most recent one is the one with the pinkish sweater. Sorry for such dumb pics but they were the best ones where you could see my hair lol
October was the straight hair
Jan was the curly
a couple of weeks ago was the recent one- my bangs are shorter than the other two pics.
