I'm actually looking for back issues of Numéro France, if anyone has any pointers on that matter it would be greatly appreciated! I haven't had much luck finding them so far.

You could try Ebay. That's where I buy all my back issues at.

I've never had a problem. As far as price, it's all about perceived value.
It's up to you to decide.

So far I haven't had a problem and sometimes I do find the recent issues of Vogue Paris or Vogue Italia at a good price. What I do is order from people who have a bunch of good reviews, I dont order from people with very little reviews.

Hi, just wondering if someone from the UK can help me, I used magazinecafe.co.uk for the first time. So about 8 days ago I placed a order for a single copy of Vogue German, on the website it clearly states where single copy order options are available, the most recent issue will be sent. In the email it says they will ship by standard mailing. Should I have received it by now or do I just assume I will get the next September issue instead of August? Does it normally take this long? Its probably just me being impatient.

^i'd assume they will ship you the august issue, as september hasn't yet been published....

I hope so as its the August issue I want, I can't imagine it being out of stock but that's always a possibility so that's what makes me wonder if they will just send me the next issue when available.

I have used magazinecafe.co.uk twice now, and both times the magazines have arrived prompt and in excellent condition. They usually wrap the magazines pretty good as well. None of my orders have been damaged.

I've found Magazine Cafe's service terrible, for getting current issues. Newsstand provides a more reliable one, stating which issues they have in stock. Their customer service is impeccable too, I've always received a response within the hour.

The other thing I'd suggest, if you're a religious reader of Vogue Germany, order into the local newsagents. I do that for a lot of publications and I have no hassle getting hold of issues. I've noticed they arrive in better condition than in WHSmith. Plus the prices charged online included postage, so you'd be saving too. Maybes take a look at the Subscription Help thread.

vogue28 So I assume your experience with magazinecafe.co.uk went from good to bad? What doesn't help matters is the fact delivery is only standard I believe, boosting the chances of the magazine ordered getting lost in the postal system. Looks like I'm going to be doing some chasing up, can't just let both websites take my money without sending me nothing, no matter how much or little it costs. What's worst is that I have also placed subscription orders for Wonderland and Vogue Hommes International from magazinecafe.co.uk. Makes me curious if I'll ever see a issue in my postbox! In general though I have to agree that Newsstand tends to offer a more reliable service, so I think I'll send a kind email asking where my issue is.

I wouldn't say I'm a religious reader of Vogue Germany, its just been the recent issues I've wanted just because of the covers mostly, I would try the best WHSmith's nearest to me but the only editions they offer are Vogue UK, Italia, Paris and US I think. I would order into the local newsagents but I guess there is no point if I'm not a regular reader.

^i used to order all my magazines from newstand, but they started to increase prices on Vogue US/Interview/W and then i bought single issues from magazinecafe, all the issues have arrived in good condition, and are well packed.
but you have to send them emails, i always ask them when i want to order some magazines.
i don't like that newsstand has increased prices on Pop/Love - an issue is 24 euros , and why are some UK magazines more expensive for Europe delivery than the US magazines, it's so weird.

^You don't have to send them emails unless you want to request a different cover, enquiries or have a problem normally etc or it could that your from Romania? I don't like having to email magazine websites if being honest, but it has to be done especially if I have paid and received nothing. Yeah I also don't understand why the increased prices on Newsstand, sometimes it is more convenient though for me to order off there.

So I have done some chasing up, Wonderland came through my post from magazinecafe.co.uk, wouldn't exactly say it was well packed, it was in see through plastic, clearly the magazine had a few knocks to it and sometimes I don't want people to see the magazine I have purchased not that I have nothing to hide. Glad it came though. Still not received the August Vogue Germany issue, not going to let this one go, if it takes much longer then I'll just ask for a refund and purchase it off eBay. About the September issue I ordered from Newsstand, there was an error on their stock for the magazine but this has now been resolved and my copy will in the post today for me.

^i think if you write a mail to their customer service stating your name and address they should be able to help you.

Anyone from the UK have a subscription to Amercian Bazaar? Do you receive the subscription covers? I'm wanting to enquire how much a subscription delivered to the UK would cost.

simply write `em on a site- there should be a form and they will forward your request to the relevant contact person

yess, but it`s quite expensive... like 20 eur for a copy plus shipping 10 eur at least... they don`t combine shipping, btw, so you won`t save on pastage.if you order 10 vogue- you pay 100 eur for shipping. i prefer ebay)
