With all due respect to all heights...I just wanted some input..and thoughts.. My sister and I ( 5'4 ft) always complain that we are short and wish we were taller...you know the whole long legs notation...
So what do you think?

i'm 5'1 and i love my height. it took a long time to accept it and like it, but i do and i dont wish i was taller.

i'm 5'4 and wish i had longer legs. i don't mind being 5'4, it's just that i feel that my legs look funny.

Yeah i know what you mean...what frustrates me that guys tend to prefer girls with longer legs...thats there ideal women in terms of physical aspect.

i'm 5'3 and lovin it!
though pants have to be cuffed and hemmed, i wear flats/flip flops on a daily basis. no complaints about my stature ever.

I'm 5'6 or 5'7. I used to wish I was taller but now I don't mind my height.

i always have to hem my pants too. i wear flats all the time. i  flats.

I like wearing kitten heels...although sometimes I wish if i can wear flip flops...but i dont feel confident enough to do so...

I'm 5'6 and I always wish I was taller and had longer legs, but I think that people don't mind your height. And boys like both tall and short girls.

I'm 5'4" also, but I don't mind it too much. I'd prefer to be 5'6", ideally, but sometimes it's nice being 5'4"-- my last boyfriend was only 5'9", but I could still wear heels around him. Proportion-wise, my legs are long, but I have a short torso. Add another inch to my torso, and I'd be happy as a clam.

i wish i had longer legs .i dislike that my waist and inseam are nearly the same measurement. 29x30 or 30x30

i don't consider myself short but i really would like to put on a couple inches.

I usally love being shorter then all of the other girls in the group. (lynseys the shortest and shes 5'8) only time it sucks is when I buy pants because even the short lengths are to long, however on the other hand they all buy talls and half the time they still arent long enough OR they wear heels with the jeans and they tower over the guys and feel really awarkd about it. B) I can wear all the heels I want and fall in perfect height with everyone.

i'm 5 foot even. i'm pretty proportionate, and although i complain about having to shorten everything i own, capris are nice because they fit like normal pants, and i generally don't mind being short. my sister is 4'9" and i'd much rather be 5' anyday! i also love flats and wear them a lot. i have 2 pairs of kitten heels, but i really don't mind being tiny.

And a lot of people think tiny people is cuter.

I'm 5"9 and i love my height, though i'd like another inch or two maybe, i wear heels most the time anyway though, i like being tall but i love both tall and short

Well I am like 6'1" and I love being tall! I did not like it so much when I was younger because kids would tease me all the time. I never really understood why they would tease my though because every adult I met would always tell me that I was so lucky to be tall and should stand up straight and be proud.

The only bad part about it is finding clothes. I usually have to pay a ton for pants that have a long inseam in my size. That the one thing about being short is that you can easily hem things, its a little harder to lengthen things.

I'm 5'3 and love it. I've never really had a problem with my height. I'd rather be short or tall, none of this inbetween business.

did you ever think maybe everyone is abnormally tall ? i've noticed being 'height impaired' is somewhat of an issue on these boards. i'm sure constrasted w/ tall coltish women could bring out this perception. i'm asian, so i'm short by the luck of the gene pool, but people always think i'm taller cause i always forgot i'm a 'little' one. and 5'3 may be little, but i've walked down the street plenty of times and felt average height -- compared to other females. in the end, you can always wear platform shoes ;) ...growth vitamins i heard for pretty painful

*kidding

:innocent:

^ interesting you should mention that, travolta. 100 years ago it was considered abnormal if a woman was taller than 5'4" or 5'5". queen elizabeth I in the 1500's was considered to be statuesy over other women at a whopping 5'6"! :D it's only by modern standards that people are expected to be taller...better nutrition, as well as not so good things like growth hormones in foods people eat, etc mean that people are taller (and very often bigger) than they were 100 years ago.

even so, I'm 5'7"...and when I'm walking down the street I find I am taller than a quite a lot of women, especially women over 30. (younger women like me I've noticed tend to be taller - so again, maybe it is a generational thing due to having health nut parents like I did) it feels weird being 'in between', because I'm really just average height for a girl, yet, men always comment on how 'little' I am.

this is true. i live in 'viking country' in the midwest and most young women and teenagers are really pretty tall. but in comparison to older women, and me wearing 2" heels, i'm about the same height. i also think i have pretty good posture, so everyone assumes i'm a few inches taller + heels = 5'10?? :D to be honest i most people think im 5'7. true story.
