Tall women vs short women ...

There are benefits to being both short and tall. Men LOVE petite women, thats for sure. And I, for one, think short, curvy women are VERY sexy. Being tall has its advantages, because clothes ALWAYS fit the best on long, lean frames. Take Carrie and Samantha for instance--two different body types--both fabulous. I'm 5'5" and definitely dont wanna be any taller, I love my height--its average, and MOST things look good on me.

I'm 5'4 and have been a bit on the self conscious side b/c of it. Everyone in my blood line has decent height on them. Here I am 21 with no more growing to do and my preteen cousins are nearly nose to nose. My mom and bro are both quite tall. My dad wasn't short but his mom was. I blame him. I have to say coming here and noticing everyone's acceptance of thier height has given me a bit of confidence. Thanx.

Im now officially 5'9 (175 plus few silly millimeters) and 14

I think that I'm short..(no offense to 5' people!) I'd like to be 5'11, I don't even know why..But whit heels it's easy to do that I don't have too big trouble finding pants/jeans yet.

I'm 5'10 and pretty satisfied with that height, although it is sometimes hard finding pants that are long enough. I tower over my mom and am almost as tall as my dad (I like to tease him about that sometimes )

I'm 5'4 and I'm trying everything to grow AT LEAST 2 inches taller. It irks methat people two years younger than me stand a head taller. I wish my legs would grow longer.

i'm asian too, but live in san francisco. there are tons of asians some who are shorter and others who are taller, usually girls my age. i don't really stick out because of my height though.

i'm 159cm or about 5ft2
i love my height, i won't be me any other way. plus i'm proportionate so maybe that helps
one thing i like about being short, i can wear heels, really high ones without towering over others. plus men just love smaller girls/women, makes them feel more protective i suppose...
bad thing? when i'm stuck in the train at armpits' height...

You can hide it or flaunt it but either way, it's the way you work whatever it is you have that makes the difference. I'm 5'3" and I don't mind. The Japanese have generally longer torsos than legs and they embrace it with their silhouettes-- dropped waists and skinny jeans. Very refreshing.

it does not about the height its about the body proportion.
i forgot the name but one of members here met nicky hilton in person, she said nicky's about 5'4.
has anyone feel she's short when standing next to others? def not!!
i think she has rather long legs so it makes her look taller.

Nicky is 5'4? Thats unbeleivable ...I always thought she was as tall as her sister Paris...
I read in a magazine that Jessica Simpson is 160cm and yet she looks taller...how come!! how do you know that your legs are long or your torsso is short...?

5'8" and considered tall for an asian but am loving it! And I love my heels. But what someone said up there about guys being intimidated ... i've gotta agree.

i really wouldnt have a problem with my height if i had longer legs.
its all about the overall proportion.

I am 5'11" and I have learned to loveit. Finding pants is pretty hard and expensive. Most of the time when it says "tall" or "long" it's still not long enough.

I'm was just over 5"11 last time I checked, I'm happy with it, I don't think I'd like to be short now because I'm used to it. I was always taller than most kids in Primary school especially. However I feel, being tall, older women feel they have the right to stroke my back and tell me 'ooh how lovely and tall you are'. It is a bit annoying on the man front though, there seems to be a shortage of tall ones and when they are taller...are they tall enough to still b bigger than u when ur wearing 4" heels!? oh the drama

Yeah it is very annoying for trousers...so I'm learning to clothesmake and hopefully I'll just reel off my own someday

I'm 5'6 (last time I measured was 3 months ago..I might be taller ) and i totally wish I was taller..about 5'10 would be nice or 5'9. if I don't grow I will be fine with my height..I just like to dream

When I'm walking around I find I'm taller than alot of women...but most are JUST above my height and there are some who are way taller, I'm pretty average.

I have a long body and it's IMPOSSIBLE to find shirts long enough and my jeans usually are a twinsy bit too long very annoying.
