Tanya Dziahileva (Diagileva)

Seriously, what did you expect from a 16 year old girl? I hate that interview too, but well, I didn't expect anything better.
nothing really:lol:
But she said she is mature for fashion, and I naturally hoped to hear mature answers to these questions.
The answers to the serious questions of the interviewer like young girls can do it just because they want it and it's so cute and adorable...are not really answers

I think she sounded sweet and nice in that interview! And of course she was talking about drugs and drinking, not studying...

And we know quite many models that don't drink and party like crazy :innocent:

I don't think immature is sweet.-_- Shesaid smth but didn't answer the questions.

I know what she was talking about but she also said a few things about studing at school which really disappointed me to be honest.

Of course. But it's rediculous to say it's more safe to be a model than study at school and do some stuff most children of that age do. Somehow I was studing at school and now at uni and I have never got any bad habits. It just has made absolutely no sense;)

Where's the studying part?
Well there are lots of kids like you who got into drugs and alcohol. Just because you didn't that doesn't mean someone else didn't ;)

^You can say the same thing about Tanya.

Just because she hasn't gotten hurt in modeling, doesn't mean bad things didn't happen to others in the job. At least in school you make the decision to take drugs, smoke, drink, etc or not. In modeling, you do not always have the upper hand; everything is not in your control. :innocent:

ok, my bad, I misaunderstood one sentance at first.

But anyway the things I wanted to say is that it sounds amusing when she says about bad things happening to children at/after school because there far more temptations in the fashion world, and as style_expert fairly mentioned, when u are simply around your coevals it's much easier to say no than when u are in this serious business and resist all these temptations, when there are so many opportunities and when u may have such thought that if u do not follow other people there and do not do what they do, it may somehow affects your caree in a negative way...

thank you, lisandwich & cuteshoes, she looks better with more natural make-up, I think, than with the one like has been at House of Holland

I kind of Agree with Sweetrus for the article. But it's up to the individual also if you are going to be safe in the industry..And the poeple you get cought up with...But still everything is up to the choices you make in or outside of the fashion industry or any industry. And she still had her mother wit her so it's different then if she didn't have her.
But yeah by her answers she obviously hasn't experiences the dark side of the industry so she doesn't really know what she is talking about.
Once I read in an article that a 15 year old Slovakian model was raped at a nightclub in Milan by 2 guys. That I guess stalk models or something. And she signed a form with the agency that she cannot go to nighclubs or do certain stuff. And she still did, so that's where the common sence come. The agency can't be your parent so you have to look out for yourself cause nobody else can. And what she said "it's not fair" please it's a rule and it's made the protect the models and considering she did NY, Milan & Paris I would be pretty thankful with the work I get to do esp when she was like 14-15 and the success I have I wouldn't be thinking "it's not fair" I'd be appreciating what I do and the chances I have cause only - what 5% of models in the world make it big.

Yes, that's true, the first thing that we, people, should do is to take care of ourselves and not to forget we have a head to think, not only to wear a hat on it;)

she's too young for this business, but she has a beautiful face so I guess she's fit for the job!

in response to all this interview talk..i think tanya is the best judge. she knows more of what it's like to be in the business and how it feels to be in it than all of us put together. and she even says that she feels very safe. it's not really any of our place to have an opinion when we haven't lived it ourselves.

just my two cents.
