yeah why do ppl think that replacing a passport takes only a short while only like a week or so? like what a la balenciaga said, it may take up to 6 weeks just to replace a lost passport. More so, maybe in some countries, you'd have to file a police report and take an oath [in court] when you've lost a passport. Not forgetting the fact that you might be fined if you lose a passport.

And what about acquiring a visa? She must need a visa or working permit right, to work in each fashion capital right? Wouldn't that take quite some time too? At the very least 3 working days or so [depending on different coutries]?

When I applied for a visa extension during my stay in South Africa, it took me 1 month and 1 week just to get a visa extension. It was annoying as hell but I couldn't do anything abt it. So there might be a possibility that Tanya might not even show up at all for this whole fashion month, as much as I hate to say it, eventhough we all love Tanya so much.

Then again, I do want to be optimistic and hope for the very best that Tanya might pop up at Missoni or Versace at least to surprise us. I do hope that they'll interview her and ask what really transpired regarding the loss of her passport. If I were her, I'd be in fumes with my mom for losing my passport if it was deliberate.

I guess she has a Belarus passport if so she isn't an EU citizen and needs visas even to enter italy/france. If she lost the passport she would not only need to wait for the new one to be processed, but then afterwards also wait for visas. She should marry one of her european agents and get an EU passport ^^

I think she has a Russian passport, but then again it doesn't make any big difference. It is weird that she got her visa so soon. But when exactly did she lose her passport? And who did give the news that she'll walk in Milan, was it Fashion Week Daily?

But if i'm not wrong when she wasn't in NY FW someone's said that she loose her passport, nothing about visa ( but I can be wrong). And as I know , you don't have to get visa everytime when you're going per ex. to U.S. but you get it and have it for next couple of years. It can be like that, that this year her visa is loosing its period of validity, but I don't know...Maybe it's different in Belarus then in Poland
