i kind of hate the lee campaign... very softcore p*rn-ish imo..

just seems like they're trying to be provocative and the only way they knew how to do it was by hiring terry richardson to photograph the models in lewd positions wearing as few articles of clothing as possible

just seems very contrived to me..

I think his energy is interesting and he's better when he doesn't try to sugar coat the dirt. I don't know if easy lines of comparison can be drawn to Jeff Burton from him but I like Burton a little more. Terry is sex + advertising to me and there's that sense of slick fakeness imbued in his work. I much prefer something a little darker...

i was working with him this week for Sisley. Very very cool campaign in my opinion.

Terry is hit and miss. If you're going to use simple digital snaps, you've got to have strong content. I like when he uses more mature looking girls like Jessica Miller, Shannon Click etc. Judith is far too babyish and she looks like a girl from "girls gone wild" as opposed to a fashion model.

i agree...its a bit trashy...as opposed to his usual work which is still a little out there, but theres always a flare of class in his photos..i guess just not the ones with judith. on a lighter note, i love how he interacts with the models while he's shooting them..it adds his personal touch and i think its a great attribute to add to work.
