I would think it is more likely that Tom:
a) thought of the idea himself
b) happily collaborated with Terry on the idea
c) stole it from an a p*rn movie

people seem to forget that before you can break the rules as well as terry richardson does, you have to first learn to abide by them.

I think she means that he's probably already well trained in shooting in the treditional way ... learned years ago, before he developed his erotic style. So it's not suprising that he can actually do "sensible" editorials ... if someone wants to pay him to do it that way.

^ yes I do not doubt his technical brilliance, but for me the name "Terry Richardson" remains synonymous with "dangerous" "provocative" and "erotic".

I also admire his brutally honest use of the pure snapshot aesthetic - where he "tells it like it really is".

IMO Terry Richardson is the "Quentin Tarantino" of Fashion Photography!
