Westworld was a pretty fun and simple sci-fi/western movie, so I recommended to people who like those movies.

^^i actually really think i need to rewatch eyes wide shut...
i watched it when it came out and i was in high school...
too young to really "get it" i think....
would definitely have a different appreciation for it now, i'm sure.

Hugo was really lovely. And as someone who loves learning about films & the industry it was interesting to watch. I actually teared up at the end (even though it wasn't really that sad). What can I say, I cry easily!

And I had seen Drive this past summer in theaters and even the second time around I cannot get over how amazing Ryan Gosling is.... how he can say so much with so few words.

Thanks to everyone for their comments about the movies they've seen!

Out of those I would recommend Love Affair and Eyes Wide Shut. Actually, I really enjoyed Eyes Wide Shut. I had no idea what to really expect from it, but god I can't think of the last movie I've seen that managed to creep me out so much.

EWS is actually one of my favourite movies. People often think it's very weird when I say that, but I don't care! I think it's just beautiful, intriguing, mysterious! Very different.

17: Step Brothers (2008) - I forgot how funny this movie is! So dumb but it had me laughing out loud.

Another one of my favourites!

13. Safe House - 1.5/5 God did I hate it. So incredibly violent; I couldn't look at the screen. I almost fell asleep.
14. Morning Glory (half of) - 4/5 great film from 2010!
15. Obsessed - my guilty pleasure film. Not a good film, but god do I love Idris Elba. Hilariously bad. The last half hour is a waste. 2/5
16. Girl with Dragon Tattoo - fantastic -- Rooney Mara was incredible.
17. The Social Network - 5/5 my favourite film of 2010

Don't hate me for including half of a film. This is just the way I've been keeping track.

093. Bunny Lake is Missing (1965)
094. 21 Jump Street (2012)

I wasn't sure what to expect from 21 Jump Street (I saw it because I had a few hours to kill today and nothing else playing was rated 'fresh' on Rotten Tomatoes), but I honestly have to say that I was quite pleased with it. I typically loathe Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, but they were both pretty likeable in this. The movie itself was kind of dumb, but it was self-referential enough for me to like it. I honestly recommend it if someone just wants to watch a dumb comedy and kill some time.

*Watched in my film class

I wrote up a massive review of The Hunger Games on that thread but I'll just restate on here that I really loved the film. And that I think the cinematography, the acting, ect was really spot on.

27.- Joyeux Noel (2005) - Only picked it bc of Guillaume Canet:heart: but I ended loving the movie, Diane Kruger looked great, as always
28.- In Time (2011) - So weird all people were the same age, great story but it felt short, it could've been a great movie but it simply wasn't.
29.- Anne Of Green Gables (1985) - Little boring at first but then I got really into it.
30.- What Ever Happened To Baby Jane? (1962) -What a b*tch that Baby Jane was. Best movie I've watched in a while, Bette Davis was soo good. Only thing is I would've liked it better in color.
31.- When Harry Met Sally (1989) - Hate Billy Crystal but I loved him in this movie, really witty and realistic. The clothes were hideus.
32.- An Affair to Remember (1957) -Watched it because it was mentioned in Sleepless in Seattle. Deborah Kerr was so classy and perfect:heart:
33.- Jaws (1975) - Finally got the nerves to watch it and I'm glad I crossed it off my list.
34.- Hugo (2011) - After all the french themed movies this year, I think I need to move there. Such a beautiful story. Hugo was really likeable and smart. Sacha BC btw was the worst cop since Jacques Clouseau.
35.- Paths of Glory (1957) - It was ok, I don't get all the "one of the best movies in history" hype. Could've been great cause the story was good but it was really rushed.
