The Acne Thread

well i changed a while ago my birth control pills, maybe i have these now cos of it. i will try to change back to the old ones called diana nova or something, they actually helps acne too.stupid me to change them in a first place :(

I realised the other day I haven't seen my face clear for at least 10 years, that has made me sad.

Ive noticed ive gotton some scattered blemishes on the chest.
Its not that bad but its so unattractive when i want to wear tshirts, dresses, just feel comfortable really.....

what could i do for that?If someone could help that'd ne great:flower:

haven't been here in a while but i wanted to share that for the past 6 months or so i've been using st.ives anti-blackhead/blemish scrub everyday (twice a day), and it's been amazing! i know that you're 'not supposed to' use an exfoliant everyday but because my skin is quite oily i think it actually did wonders for my skin. it has 2% salicylic acid in it. i haven't gotten those painful cystic pimples in ages! and it's only like $6 :)

have anyone used superdrugs tea tree products? i have that foam cleanser, stick and this gel what u use in bad areas (my case chin)
Any recommendations? i have used like over a week now only.
help

^I think I used superdrugs tea tea cleasner or something. But I've never found any thing like that to work for me. Apart from a cheap and cheerful blackhead cleanser from Boots,I love that,I think it is one of the only products I've noticed a difference with.

Since spearmint tea makes androgen (the hormone that causes acne) inactive, it should work to prevent it.

Peppermint tea will not work because it is not the same plant and does not have the same qualities.

Does this not work with guys then?

okay, well i try for a while maybe, also i bought this simple cleanser from boots, moizturising gel thing, seems good. but time will tell, and i must change those pills.:yuk:

I suggest get tea tree oil and dab it on to your skin. It can stink a little but it can help with break outs.

Just make sure you dilute it a little bit.

Don't use too much or you will make your face really dry.

applying essential tea tree oil does nothing to me though :(
