Well yes except that I would not use the prodcuts made by those companies or the like. They are not exactly the same thing (usually lighter), and for example Nivea uses ingredients known to be poisonous in its products.

so liquid foundation is bad for the skin  i never knew....i use the covergirl liquid foundation w/ SFP but should i stop???

^ i agree about liquid foundation being bad for the skin, i only use it when i have to get dressed up for something, when i was using it on a daily basis, my skin would break out so frequently, but now i only use a powder foundation and i have dry/combination skin so i just put on a light moisturizer underneath and it's fine

^me too. I use powder most days and liquid when I go places. Still have crappy skin, though.

Hey! But my skin has looked better the past few days. Don't know why though. I think it might be because I have only been washing the places where it is dirty lately. Like in the morning, I have only been washing the places after I shave to remove the shaving cream residue. At night, I wash where I put makeup. Sometimes that means all over, sometimes not. Anyhoo, just a thought.

^ yes, i know what you mean, i've stopped washing my face so much, i think the overcleansing makes it worse... do you wash with a cream cleanser? that's what i'm using too and my skin doesn't feel dry and stripped.

^no, I use the neutrogena deep clean liquid cleanser. But I do use pond's cold cream on days I wear waterproof foundation before I wash with the cleanser.

^ That Neutrogena cleanser made my skin break out really badly everytime I tried it (twice, I think). It always took my skin almost two weeks to clear up again. It was just a lot too harsh. Maybe that's why your skin is so bad?

i also think it's a bit harsh, i use st ives moisturizing cleanser at night, and the blemish-prone one in the morning, it's really gentle, and your skin sounds sensitive

^ Yes they work but I don't think we are allowed to talk about prescribed drugs on the forum....I use the Diane combined...

im reading on all this negative liquid foundation info! I was just going to ask why i would have some tiny red spots..that aren't even bumps...but they're just their either from a previous pimple or whatever..but Ive had them for months!! it must be my cover girl liquid foundation!
does anyone know if neutrogena still has a makeup line? because I have to shop for a new oil free foundation i guess. Ive searched shoppers and zellers.. and havn't come accross the neutrogena products!

Oh, okay. Thank you, though!

Right now I am using DDF products and they're okay, but they don't really do a good job at preventing my hormonal breakouts a few days before "that time of the month."

sweetie, my skin always looks like sh*t no matter what the heck I use:rolleyes:

^ Try Cetaphil modelbehaviour...seriously I think you have my skin by the sounds of it meaning you have sensitive skin. Cetaphil can be bought in the pharmacy and it is a cleansing gel in a bottle that can be used with or without water...try it...

About the pill: If you get the wrong one, it can make you break out. Some of my friends had this problem.

i went to erno laszlo's counter and looked under the light and thee white bumps ive been getting apparently are white heads/.

whats the difference btw white heads, black heads ? my whiet heads are not turning into pimples tho they seem to be just THERE forever and not MOVE AWAY OR CLEAR UP! which is gross when makeup is applied that is whyyyyyyyy tomorrow im going to get Gyltone Acne and Jane Iredale mineral makeup
hope it works!

oh yeah is it good to squeeze whiteheads? i dont want big pores...but they seem to not go unless if i squeeze them?
