ive been looking for marc by marc jacobs white pumps and cant find them. they look like these...

but they have a thin ankle strap and are white. i saw them in a magazine but all they said is that they are marc jacobs.
anyone know where to get them?! i cant seem to google them

^ Prettyjuice, you should call one of the stores, they should have them (phone numbers at marcjacobs.com) ... I saw them in white in a magazine too, pumps just like in that picture.

I have Marc and Marc Jacobs things that weren't on the runway, either at all, or in the colorway I have. The way things are styled/layered on the runway or for the pix sometimes obscures the pieces to the point you can't recognize them. I have a jacket that hung on the models that fits me much more closely just because I have curves and they don't. I thought it wasn't on the runway till someone at one of his stores pointed out that it was, in a black or grey colorway, unbuttoned and way too big on the model (unrecognizable )

What do people know about authenticity of designer things sold at duty free shops? I have a friend who swears they are havens for fakes (the bags, the watches, etc.) Somehow doesn't seem like they could get away with selling fake stuff though...anyone have any info/opinions?

A-HA!!! I found some very similar jeans at urban outfitters (urbn.com)! They don't have the nice blue color I was looking for, but I love them and ordered them! There's a backorder for 3 more days, but that's not bad at all. Hopefully they're my correct size, and hopefully I'll get the real Marc ones one day (if anyone knows where marc fall 06 items are for sale online, please let me know.)

hey that look slike a real marc jacobs to me... how can you tell fake marc jacobs clothes from real ones?

You mean like on ebay? I just got a m by mj fall 05 dress off of ebay, and I'm like 99% sure it's legit. make sure that they have a picture of the actual item, and them compare to runway pics like style.com, look at tags or marc's logo...

yea, i got one. It looks great and fits well. Plus I took a course in ecology and the proceeds go to a global warming charity...so i pretty much had to get it.

Not for the al gore ones...the mens and womens shirts are definitely cut differently.
