The Blazers Thread

my style is chic, simple but striking, I love the Olson's style preferably Ashley's. Why don't you like Marc Jacobs?

Because, IMO he's never designed anything - he just rips off other people. I've heard tales of MJ employees actually going through vintage stores to find designs to rip-off...

i like it! i say get it.. you could wear it with a skirt or pants or dress; it's not too old for 16, and it's definitley a modern take on the jean jacket.

go for it!!

see to me I see that as finding inspiration in vintage clothing.. But thanks for your input and opinions!

...However, if you like the style of people like the Olsen's then maybe it's for you. I'm the same age as you and personally I would find that jacket a bit too young for me but it all comes down to what you like really...

i love the olsens style! and that jacket..i think u should get it..and a sparkly pin would look very cute on it 2!

I don't really care for it, but if it looks good on you and you like it, definitely go for it.

By the way, Prince started a wonderful thread for questions just like yours: Yay or Nay?

thanks I didn't know where to post this! But now I know for future reference

The style is simple and functional, so you could wear it for a long time. If the price is also agreeable, I think you should get it. :flower:

I think I can get it for around $43 or more I'm still thinking about it but I've pretty much decided if I can get it for under $100 then I'll get it I mean I needed a good denim blazer cause I have a denim jacket but it's well.. I need another one!

I'm trying to get a dark-color blazer which would go with my jeans and tailored pants also.
I've looked through magazines and some said faux-fur blazer from gap would be a nice choice, which I slightly disagree

any suggestions?
(I don't care on-line shopping!)

you can just post what blazers you have :flower:

D&G has some nice, affordable, fitted, and comfortable blazers that can be worn casual or a bit dressier.

Slim cut blazer

I need to own at least one slim cut, fitted blazer. I'm a bit tight on the money so Dior Homme is out of the question- who else has slim silhouettes that can be found at more affordable prices? thanks.

Balenciaga has quite a slim cut, but its only slightly cheaper than DH.
Helmut Lang is quite a bit cheaper I believe.
Your best bet might be ebay/yoox or having one tailored.

Vingtage Yves SaintLaurent. People think that YSL is all flared lapels but Yves actually did some le smoking for men with really thin lapels and tight cut (I suspect this may have been one of Hedi's inspirations).
