The Butt Thread....

I don't want mine to be smaller, but I would be happy if it wasn't as flat as it is - my torso is very long, so the flat bottom makes it look even longer - what can I do against that?!?
 
stairmaster/stairs, i hear its pretty good for your butt in toning/maybe making it bigger. when your walking up, lift on leg up behind you as you go so that its horizontal/parallel to the ground.
 
anyone know any good exercises for flattening the butt?

I have never heard of any.
I would think there are none.
If you work the muscles they will just get tighter or bigger.
I have only had luck loosing some tush when I loose weight in general.
It goes from my tush and t*ts first, like alot of women I know.
 
^ i think loosing weight is the only way ive seen anyone 'flatten their butt'..my butt is small but cute(hey i like it, no need to bash my own..i prefer a small butt for myself but sometimes bigger on others)..but my butt doesnt change with weight gain or loss! i dont want to change mine but i think it would suck if thats the case with some others who want to change theirs.
 
I agree, I think the only way to really lose weight from your tush is to lose weight in general. I have quite a big pear shaped tush really in proportion to my size, but when I lost lots of weight recently due to stress and stuff, it basically went. Even my friends noticed it had decreased dramatically.
Exercise won't do it any harm though, it's nice to be a bit toned, but I think a bit of squidginess is feminine.
 
I'm petite and thin(95 lbs and 5'4 tall) I have small 34b boobs but I've been blessed with a small waist, wide hips, and bubble butt. I love it, it's my favorite feature. All the women in the family have a similar shape. My exercise regime is walking briskly around my neighboorhood. There's a few good hills in the area so on those inclines I walk slowly and squeeze muscles in my butt and thighs. It really firms up the area. I want mine to be biggerB)

All the women above have gorgeous butt, I could take any one of them :D I like tush toned and round, the size is irrelevant if it`s in shape. I have quite flat bum naturally, but I do numerous lunges, squats, yoga and pilates every week, exercising can really improve it.

Noooo!!! :( I'm quite boney, especially around my upper body, arms, stomach, boob areas... My *** and upper thighs are massive though. Is there any way you can lose the lower body without looking like a skeleton on the upper body?

You do realize that many women are struggling to increase theirs without increasing the rest of their body? :p
 
^ Haha, yeah, women tend to be like that, always wanting something they don`t have naturally.

There was this pilates discussion on previous pages. I couldn`t find the Winsor Pilates bum and thighs from Youtube, but I found this excellent website: www.exercisetv.tv. You can find a good pilates work out for butt and thighs under pilates category.
 
I'm pretty happy with the shape of my bum but I like to keep it toned, shaped and firm.

I do the stairstepper, kegels and squats.
 
I don't have much of a butt, but I think that it works out alright because I'm a 34D on top.

I think that a big chest and big behind would make me look fat/too curvy even though I'm 5'4 and only 120 lbs. And people would automatically assume something is fake or that there's a lot of padding.
 
I am happy with my bum. Its big compared to me and round and I always seem to go out with men that like it :blush:
Not so happy about how hard it is to dress a big bum. Jeans are a nightmare!

I hate my butt! Whenever I gain weight, it's always in that area! I was whining to a friend the other day and I lifted up , my dress to show her (umm...I was wearing black opaque tights mind you) and she was like 'giiiiiirrl there's nothing there, you're as flat as a wall...'
Oh well, I still see it.
