I am obsessed with my Diptyque candle in Tuberuse. Smells like delicious, exotic tea. Lilas sounds amazing too! I want another one........

I just purchased by first Diptyque candle today! It's called Lilas, and smells exactly like lilacs. I'm so happy, it reminds me so much of my childhood!

I do have a question for anybody here with dry skin like me... the fragrance of my perfume always fades so quickly, no matter how much I spray. Should I be using solids instead?

I adore that scent. First thing I am getting with my holiday money. So many of Diptyques scents are pleasant enough to me, but nothing that I have to have. Tam Dao definitely defies that. I adore it.

I get told lots yeah!! Theyre kind of awkward, adorable indie kinda guys and theyre like "oh hey...you smell nice, i mean like lollies" ahahaha

Guess i can answer to all your questions: it depends on the people!

Tho in my opinion, a like a guy who uses a mix of woody and fresh perfumes, like Boss Bottled ot the new Ralph Lauren 3 [the collection of 4 different scents].

The wood/musc smell is to me pretty warm and comforting. And the freshness well it's the youth and energy of the guy.
Most of all i like to smell the perfume. I don't like those scents so "shy" you can't smell them when you kiss on the cheek of the guy.

But i have friends who dont like perfume on guys.

How a I (straight girl) likes men to smell-
I love 2 kinds of kinds of smells- woody and spicy and warm but musky and sweet smelling , perhaps when they get down to the base note....i guess you could say oriental?

My favourite scent on a man (and myself since I wear it too) is Terre d'Hermes by Hermes.

My second favourite is BOSS in Motion by Hugo Boss.

I also love Opium pour Homme by YSL.

I really do not like anything green smelling. If that makes sense.

I dont pay attention to what other women smell like really...sometimes I'll catch a lovely scent, usually its sensual smelling if it makes an impression on me.

^The only way ive found is to just wait until you go overseas and buy duty free...unless you want to brave strawberrynet but some claim there is a mis of fake and genuine. Hmmm i guess we still have to suck it up and pay it

Bought my mother a white patchouli touch-point for christmas, btw, while my grandmother bought her the 100ml parfum
Tad obsessed with it. Why didn't I get perfume?!

Black Orchid (and the men's fragrances, except for Grey Vetiver) is the only 'regular' Tom Ford fragrance i love. the others are so blah on my skin. White Patchouli is unbelievably cold on me.

i also love Miss Dior Cherie, but not on me...

^ Comme des Garçons Peppermint might be nice for a 19 y/o guy! I love it in summer - its so refreshing! Not a candycane peppermint tho...its more a garden mint and herbal thing. Nice and androgynous, not parfumy or cologne-ish. Very subtle and unobtrusive. Office-worthy.
