It's definitely the most boring modeling reality show. And the lighting is truly terrible, even the judges look rough! Also the clear favourite to win is already an experienced model and former Miss Universe finalist??

I don't think there will be a season 2

i was disappointed. all i wanted was something completely different than ANTM, but i don't know what the heck i was thinking. no potential, way too much unnecessary drama, and the prize(s) seem really really...sad.

You think a show with a model like Naomi at it's head would offer better prizes, shoots. The drama however was inevitable, I mean this woman threw a phone at someones head and pushed a cameraman over on national television she doesn't give a damn.

One thing that confused me was at the beginning Nigel said that they had opened the competition to girls around the world yet all the contestants except one Chinese girl seemed to be North-American??

First impressions are lasting impressions and I cannot wait for the next episode to air. I was expecting it to be complete garbage from most of the comments here. I think if anything, Nigel Barker's the problem, I associate him with Tyra's Top Model too much. Nonetheless I enjoyed the show which is what matters.

I thought more of Naomi's personality would come out, but I guess that's about to come with the upcoming shows. Karolina and Coco both seem genuine.

However, I didn't agree with the Jessica and Brittany situation towards to end. Jessica didn't even get a chance.

I really enjoyed the Countdown special, unlike many comments I read here I found it to be very entertaining. This show is nothing like ANTM the format is totally different and I find it quite refreshing. I'm glad that the show isn't all about Naomi...I'm glad that Coca & Karolina personalities shine as well. I'm excited to see the 1st episode tonight then I'll be able to provide an honest, indepth review..But so far I think this show will rule just bc of Naomi and the sponsors W mag, Zac Posen, Patrick & etc. I really wish the prize was better than an Ulta Contract that would be my only concern, besides that I think the show is great...Great group of girls..Zulin, Margauex, Devin, will be the final three mark my words!

Tonights episode was MUCH better than whatever the last one was.

Still, the models are very much lacking and the the film quality and style is very cheap looking. The lighting makes them all look super rough. I would've expected something more clean, sharp, and stylish - like a Project Runway type production.

A few models have some potential though - Margaux in particular along with Zi Li and Jocelyn. But moreso in a commercial sense. I personally would be surprise if Margaux didn't win.

All in all it was entertaining though. I liked that they did a photoshoot for W magazine.

Stefano Tonchi, W Magazine and Patrick Demarchelier in this episode. Wow! Sad about the bottom two, and the girl who left. And ohh Karolina, you better watch your back girrrrrl.

After finally seeing the 1st real episode of The Face I'm quite happy with this show. The concept is new, I dont really like the fact the the contestants pick their wardrobe and etc but thats what make the show new. What I do love is how the Supermodels come in and start whipping them together. Naomi and Coco was real fierce in how they coached although I didnt like neither of their pictures. Karolina's photo was the best IMO as well. Key moments was when Naomi told her mentee Alexandra to stay focus and in tune with Patrick bc he may just offer you a Vogue Cover, Naomi speaking on her Great Fall at Vivienne Westwood, Coco teaching her girls to pose...Another key moment was when Stefano said Coco's mentee Stephanie had the most Modern face and she could walk plenty of Runways this season.. The drama Btwn Naomi & Karolina was quite juicy and seemed genuine although we kno its TV, Naomi is invested in her girls and was Highly pissed that her girl was sent home over the fresh faced wet behind the ears inexperienced newbie...All in All Im excited to watch this show and I hope it get all the ratings it need to survive bc I'm sure the 2nd season would be outstandingly Great. The girls I predict will work after the show bc they already scoring big jobs on the show and the power of Naomi can produce a Fashion star.

And WOW, did anyone notice the serious mistake they made during the 'personal style' briefing?! They labeled Izabel Goulart as Ale Ambrosio...legit modeling show for real right. Nigel's voiceovers are getting very annoying too.

I never cared for Nigel, don't even find him hot. ANTM's hyped him up as some world renowned fashion photographer and I had never heard of him before ANTM. I think his position in the show was really to draw ANTM viewers to the show - despite Naomi's insistence that the two shows are different.
