im fifteen, and i currently shave ( no im not sexually active, but locker rooms are hell enough. ) and i know i'll have to wax it as i get older.

ugh honestly, i wish i could just leave it alone, its such a nuisance, i ought to just bathe in nair x[

I just took an OSHA update class for work and heard horror stories about people catching flesh eating bacteria from getting a Brazilian bikini wax.
And I just read they are trying to ban them in New Jersey b/c of infection issues. The wax is nice and warm and a good breeding ground for bacterias I guess.
:ninja:

I have a question. Has anyone ever used the salon divine body wax kit by nair? I just want to know if it works good.

I get the Hollywood and i have extremly sensitive skin and i always get red spots, it was quite frightening to see it for the first time because it looked like a huge big bruise but it only lasts a couple of days. I just find it so much cleaner and fresh when i don't have any hair.

Noxzema Bikini Razors are like a miracle for me. I used to wax but it's so expensive and I hate having to wait for it to be long enough... ugh! But these babies are a godsend and you can use them anywhere!! Anywhere!

Ah, what sets them apart from the run-of-the-mill female razors? Getting a little inspired over here. Are they disposable?

What is the best for home waxing??
I have few tries but failed.
and I do not wanna go ´´professional waxer´´ because...well, I do not like the idea of it *hahah*

Yes, they are disposable and feature a safety blade so you won't get any knicks down there. I store mine in the cabinet and dry it after a shower, so they last a really long time if you don't store them in the shower.

I started using them because I just got tired of paying for waxes, and epilators were just too darn painful, so these were the cheapest and quickest pain-free option for me.

I have tried razors meant for the bikini line and still get razor burn.
I think shaving in general is just really bad if you have sensitive skin like I do.

i used to shave, and sometimes still do (out of convienience) but it would leave these horrible bumps and marks. now i get it all waxed. most of the time i do it myself using the best wax strips ever, other times i pay for someone to do it.

BUT waxing is the way forward and now it doesn't even hurt really : )

Yes, I agree!! I'm in the same boat. Can someone recommend a good home waxing kit? Preferably something w/really good instructions!!! :innocent:

I've used it. I found that it barely gripped any of the hairs. It didn't even take out all the very fine and very easy to pluck hairs on my lip, let alone get out all the hairs on my bikini line.

It definitely wasn't worth getting. You can get one of those little professional wax heaters for use at home and then buy the wax that goes in it from various beauty supply stores. In the end it works out cheap (on a cost-per-use basis, however my heater was a gift) and you'll be able to use the best wax available to you. Plus the professional waxes come in different varieties depending on your concern, some of them have aloe vera in it for sensitive skin.

I don't know why people even try shaving.
It just seems like definite no do thing.

Just get someone professional to wax you!

There's a few reasons why I don't wax:

a) I hate pain. I can barely even tolerate eyebrow waxing.
b) No-Fly Zone. Let's just say, it's the hole of the golf course that is on the owner's property, and I'm not letting some random groundskeeper on when I know I can cut the grass myself. (sorry for the bad analogy) Yes, I know they've seen it all before, but I don't really go showing it off.
c) Cost. I don't have the money to get my brows done anymore (no job-so I use a single-blade razor), so I can't afford a bikini wax.
d) Convenience. I've shaved it all off since I was 15 and it's not something I look at as being a burden-to me, it comes with shaving the legs. Sure, I have to do it every other day, but it's not a big deal.
