The Hair "Down There"

I am very uncomfortable having someone down there.. And i wish i could get it waxed but not by someone here.. Lol its weird but i'd like there to be a place here like the nail places run by asian people who dont talk to you while they're doing the nails so I'd like a place where they dont speak english lol I'm not being racist or anything but I prefer people to not talk to me while I'm getting a wax and if they dont speak english then even better haha

I have tried razors meant for the bikini line and still get razor burn.
I think shaving in general is just really bad if you have sensitive skin like I do.
I have to tell you I have really sensitive skin and am absolutely ******** when it comes to shaving, the best razor I have ever found was the schick intuition razor for sensitive skin. Granted its not meant for longer hair, its absolutely amazing in my opinion.

i am sooo annoyed. the hair 'down there' that i shaved off is taking forever to grow back and i want to get a brazilian done before i go on holiday. there's enough hair there to make shaving every day a total hassle on holiday but if i get it waxed i'll be shaving parts of it anyway.

has anyone tried the wilkinson sword razor and trimmer? it's new...

Hair Down There

How to shave the Netherworld

The razor manufacturer released a series of intructional videos including How to Shave Your Groin.

After watching the animated "demonstration," it seems the same rules apply to shaving any part of your body except you get the added benefit of HIGHlarious visuals!

Remember to heed the video's advice: Trimming the bush makes the tree look taller!

Has anyone used the Veet warm wax? I bought it today but I have a love/hate relationship with that company.. bad experiences with the hair removal moose... :(

I'm losing my mind at the moment. I'm having brazilian done every month and now it's time to make an appointment again, but I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks and they won't grow back till then if I go now. So I have to wait two more weeks if I want to be completely smooth down there when I put on bikini.:ninja:

My advice to you would be to go for the wax and take a box of veet wax strips for the bikini area for sensitive skin with you. They work really well, and are effective on regrowth and are gentle enough not to damaga skin that has been recently been waxed.

The way I use it is, clean and dry skin, apply powder (baby powder, but in emergencies I have used loose face powder and worked just as well) and wax.
I think doing that would really work cuz I always use the kit in between my wax appointments and I've never had any problems so far, despite the fact my skin is quite sensitive. Anyhoo, good luck and hope that helps. :flower:

Why dont you wait a week or a week and a half then? I'm sure having a smooth bikini area on vacation ismore important then now for a couple of weeks? and then you dont have to worry about it while you're away

Thank you guys! I think I'll have to wait anyway, "those" days coming.:innocent:
I've tried once Veet wax stripes, I wanted to do brazilian on my own-oh gosh, never again. They work well for bikini area, but I wouldn't recommend them for brazilian.

^Hahah oh my! :ninja: That is the ultimate no, attempting the brazilian on your own, i tried it once as well, NOT a good idea!

Kourtney Kardashian does her own brazilian hehe I want to try but i dont want to chicken out half way through!

Waxing is better, you'll get used to the pain. Shaving makes your "down there" prone to major ingrown hairs. I've got a terrible case of them so resorted to waxing

can I ask why people wax their vaginas completely to begin with?

:rofl: it's their own toooot so they can do whatever they want with it i guess

yeah that's why I asked "WHY". Obviously if they're doing it then one of the reasons is because they can but there has to be some other reason.

Well I think it's sort of a hygiene/comfort thing. There are too many reasons. It esp feels so much better to have shaven during menstruation. Other girls I know get rid of the hair because they hit the beach a lot and wouldn't want hair to accidentally, slip out...

(My male friends also say that they find unshaven pu... gross... :P)

^:lol::lol:
this is the best!
as to answer WHY... I just don't like being hairy there... Actually, I dont like hair anywhere on my body except my head :P

I agree, it's more hygienical, comfy and better looking (for me), plus you have no worries when you wear a bikini. Not to mention no problems with ingrown hair (if you use scrub regularly), red itchy spots etc. That sounds kinda gross, but that's the way it is. Waxing for life.:innocent:
I finally got brazilian done, it feels so good!:ninja:
