I hear that. What's worse is digging for it with a pair of tweezers. It's like surgery! :ninja:

I'm not a contortionist or an acrobat, but I think I manage to get every hair by shaving alone.
Yes, even between the cheeks.:lol:

Alright, it might be a bit strange, but can anyone explain to me why women need to shave?

What's wrong with the natural hair?
Everything!!!! I've shaved it all off since I was 15 and I cannot go more than 4 days without shaving it all off. I hate the way that hair feels down there, but I don't feel like waxing it. I have a really good ingrown hair treatment that I use. It's so unnatural to me to have hair there.

Just because you don't like having pubic hair doesn't mean there's anything wrong with. I think the Creator would disagree with you :p

with tweezers? OUCH.

i'm pretty flexible, so yeah, i can get to that hair, too! i thank my ballerina roots for that.

I don't understand... why risk the perils of shaving? Waxing is so quick and much more effective. It's cheap and lasts for longer. either way, to each their own, of course :flower:

to each their own. personally, i feel that shaving/waxing is cleaner, but as i said, to each their own. everyone can do with their body as they please.

Does anyone who has sensitive skin wax? Since shaving is not an option I want to try waxing but I'm scared of the side effects on my skin.

I have extremely sensitive skin & I get waxed on a regular basis...but I have a really good waxer with a lot of experience...so you should check around to find an experienced waxer & speak to them about your sensitivity first.

I have very sensitive skin. Really fair and really dry and gets red very easy.

I wax myself with beeswax from Katherine Hines ( a beauty school) that is made for sensitive skin and though I am red for a bit after it goes away pretty quick and I am very happy with the results.

Though if you are not used to waxing yourself and you have sen. skin I would reccomend going with an experienced waxer first, like MMA says.

Well, I shower every day and the razor stays in the shower.

It's a matter of convenience! ^_^
Fair enough ^_^ It just seems like much more trouble than it's worth, to me. I could never go back to shaving after experiencing the joys waxing so I was just wondering. :p

My experiences with both shaving and waxing have been awful. Though, that's not why I choose not to remove the hair. Personally I prefer natural. Strangely, people think that's gross, when in fact it's -- well -- natural.

I never thought I'd be posting in this thread but we're all mature here ^_^
I've always shaved and never gave a thought about waxing until now. I'm really interested in trying it out, especially since I'm going on vacation in April and would like to try it at least once before I'd consider doing it again for my trip. I only wonder if it's even worth it though because I honestly don't have that much down there compared to some women. I don't have any hair between my cheeks or anything hahah... I can shave and get everything off in under 2 minutes!

I'm clueless about professional waxing. I'm definitely not conservative but the idea of someone else other than a gynecologist seeing my bits makes me feel a little uneasy. All I do is keep telling myself that these people are professionals and they've seen probably hundreds of pubic regions so mine wouldn't even be significant to remember :D Has anyone actually had this feeling?

P.S. do they make you spread your legs spread eagle ?? :ninja:

This is seriously the best stuff ever! I would get the worst bumps, ingrowns and razor burns until I started using this cream. They have a bunch of other products too and at first I couldn't decide which to get or if I should get the whole line. But I just bought this first to try it out and it's the only thing I need!

I had heard all sorts like they make you get on all fours etc. But when I went I had paper pants on and a towel over me and I bent one leg out and to the side and sort of held my self. And then swapped.

What's the problem with spreading your legs? You don't have to take of your underwear...
I wax almost every hair down there and I never had to undress my underwear. I usually wear a thong when I wax, it's easier that way.
