She is so annoying but I like Audrina's new hair colour. Her face didn't look as bad on the show as it does in the pic on the previous page.

I can kind of understand Stephanie trying to get Lauren and Hedi taking again but she does needs to stop.

I don't miss Whitney. It's like she was never on the show in the first place.

I am not sure but it might be the lowest season opener for the show. I know season 1 had 3.5 millions viewers, the regular season 3/extended epis openers were the highest for the show, season 4 got 3.5 millions but not sure about season 2.

Mondays episodes got just 2.97 milllions viewers.

It's a good thing reality TV "actress" Lauren Conrad decided to leave her hit show, The Hills.
Unfortunately for MTV, Monday night's fifth season premiere dropped in numbers from last season's opener!
This episode managed to average about 3 million viewers. That's a 15% drop from season four.

Lo on Lauren: Speidi Could Replace Her on The Hills


Lo Bosworth may not want to see her best friend Lauren Conrad leave The Hills, but she does think the series can survive without her.
In fact, Lo thinks Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt could probably replace Ms. Conrad as the MTV reality show's headlining act.
"They get great press on their own, so there's always the possibility that the show can do really well with them as main parts," Bosworth told us last night at the IS vodka-sponsored opening of new Hollywood nightspot Halo.
Lo thinks, however, that season five may not end all L.C. appearances on The Hills...
"[Lauren] hasn't filmed in weeks and she's really excited about that," Lo said. "I think she'll come back for special occasions and stuff, but we just don't know how many episodes she'll return for or if there will be another season. It's really just all up in the air."
If Speidi does become the main attraction, a title change may be in order. Forget The Hills! Don't you think Divorce Court sounds so much more fun?

Lo likes to discuss Lauren's personal life to the media...

The Hills kicked off season 5 with its typical drama between Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. But will there be more of a bark than a bite?
Conrad’s sidekick Lo Bosworth tells PEOPLE that “everything is fine” between the former friends, but “the next few episodes will be a bit of back and forth.”
Though the entire cast isn’t done filming the season yet, Bosworth, who stepped out Thursday for the opening of a new Hollywood nightclub Halo, is thinking good thoughts for the finale. “Everybody’s hoping for a positive ending that really wraps everything up,” she says.
And what about Lauren’s off-camera love life with boyfriend Kyle Howard? According to Lo, “With Kyle, he’s an actor and so for contractual reasons he’s not on The Hills. Actors [and] reality show — it doesn’t really mix. And so for him, I think [the reason he's not on the show] really is business.”
But best bud LC has her own reasons for keeping her beau behind the camera. “She went into this season knowing it was going to be her last,” Lo says, “so she didn’t really want to share that part of her life with everybody.” – Abby Stern

Whitney Port Explains Lauren Conrad's 'Hills' Exit

'She's put everybody else and the audience in front of her for the last eight years,' former co-star tells MTV News.

Most fans were shocked to hear this would be the last season of "The Hills" for star Lauren Conrad, putting the fate of the show up in the air. But it wasn't surprising news for Lauren's longtime BFF and former co-worker Whitney Port, who talked about the real reason Lauren walked away.
"I think at this point, she's put everybody else and the audience in front of her for the last eight years, so now she decided she needs to put herself first," the "City" star told MTV News. (Editor's note: Conrad actually debuted on "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" in 2004.) "I think she's not happy anymore."
Whitney said they discussed a possible exit and that Lauren was tired of having a camera in her face at all times. "We talked about that a lot. I know she was having a lot of difficulty with it as the season was wrapping," she said. "I think she needs to do what she wants to do. It's hard. She's had her life on tape since she was 16 years old."
Lauren's love life was another big reason she didn't want to come back to the show, Port explained. She's hoping she'll have more romantic success without the cameras trailing her. "She has no privacy. And she hasn't been able to have a real relationship until now," Whitney said about Lauren's current relationship with "My Boys" star Kyle Howard. "I give her credit."
Now that Lauren is singing her "Hills" swan song, can the show survive without her? "I don't know! I can't imagine that 'The Hills' would go on without her," Whitney said. "Lauren is the central character."
The new season of "The Hills" premieres Monday at 10 p.m. on MTV

That is such a fake storyline because Brody has never shown any interest in Audrina. In fact, he talks bad about her constantly to the media and urged Lauren to dump her as a friend. Now, the viewers are to believe he is attracted to her.

I have a feeling that the producers really wanted Lauren for this plotline since it would make sense, her and Brody have a sorted past together... and she told them NO. The show has gotten too fake now..

Brody Jenner Keeps His Mouth Shut About Speidi's Wedding!

Brody Jenner stopped by Ryan's radio show Monday morning to talk about The Hills and Spencer and Heidi's wedding.

As hard as Ryan tried to get Brody to spill details from the wedding, Brody diligently kept quiet saying only, "It was interesting to say the least. You never know what to expect with those two." As for the rest? "You have to watch and find out."

Brody told Ryan that he's "not the biggest fan of plastic surgery" and his 23-year-old Playmate girlfriend of seven months Jayde Nicole is all natural.

When asked about the legitimacy of the Speidi wedding, Brody thinks this wedding was official and truly believes that the gruesome-twosome will be together forever. Although there was a glimmer of doubt for Brody as he said "...but you never know with those two." His reason for suspicion? "[Spencer] was at the wedding telling me hes going to be the next Eminem and his new rap name is the Great White." You've got to be kidding us.

Another wedding twist included Lauren Conrad's unexpected attendance. Also in attendance was another one of Brody's ex-girlfriends Kristin Cavallari who 'incidentally' caught the bouquet! Brody responded to Ryan's question about feeling awkward with his ex's around by saying, "if it was awkward to see my ex-girlfriend out I probably wouldn't be able to go out in LA."

Brody told Ryan that although he can't disclose any wedding details, "There was drama, a lot of drama...unexpected drama."

Since he was being so hush-hush about future episodes of The Hills, Ryan decided to phone the head of programming for MTV, Tony DiSanto to see what he could get out of him. Ryan's attempt was met with a congratulatory "I'm really happy for them...they really seem to be in love." Looks like we'll have to stick it out until the finale.

Brody did mention that Monday's episode of The Hills features "a little cat fight" among his girlfriend and Audrina Patridge. If you're wondering if he leaves Jayde for Audrina the answer is a resounding no, "Audrina's not really my style." He said, "Lets just say that Jayde and her don't get along very well."

hahaaaaa!! i find it funny that no one has mentioned the speidi wedding!! are we all that over it?!

here's a link to a blog of a fabulous photographer that was hired by their wedding coordinator to take artistic pics, but speidi had her kicked out as they thought she was a pap, when they actually used a pap from US mag as their actual wedding photographer. check out her pics too. there's some great shots of stephanie, heidi's mum, dad & sister etc

honestly, the pics of the wedding with EVERYONE there like lauren, brent bolthouse, heidi's mum beaming etc etc etc reinforces to me that all of the drama is completely FAKE!! while some people are saying lauren looks like she's hating being there and is only doing it under contract etc, I think that there isn't a problem between her & heidi and it's all for the cameras.

ps. i saw on heidi's thread that someone spotted stacie the bartender coming out of the church hahaaa!

^ Pretty sure Lauren was contractually obliged to be there, as were other people in the cast. Notice they only showed up to her wedding and none of them bothered to go to the reception.

I don't think Lauren would actually ever be cool with two people that spread such horrible rumors about her. They went on national tv and to every gossip magazine to talk ****.

I do believe that Heidi's mom and sister were faking their hate for Spencer though. Afterall, without Speidi drama, how would they get any airtime on the show? That was all fake. Her mother and sister seem like huge famewhores to me. Guess it runs in the family. Anything to get on TV. Her crocodile tears were always annoying.
