First start with a foundation and seal it with powder in colors that goes with you skin tone.

Use highlighter on your cheekbones and right under your eye brows

From what I can see she has used a pink/red ish eyeshadow with some brown in it on her whole eye lid up to the point of the highlight under the brow.

Then use a brown with some purple on your eyelid from the eyelashes and up to the crease

Use a shimmery white eyeshadow under your eye and in the corners.

Finish with a black/dark eyeliner around the whole eye and top with mascara.

Use stilas lipgloss/gaze in orange on your lips

I'm having trouble finding a close-up of Kristin Stewart's face...I love her make-up here but trying to figure out how to accurately mimic it. Would a brown liquid eyeliner look better than black? Any tips would be appreciated!

VainJane, there is some info about Kristen Stewart's makeup in the movie here: http://bellasugar.com/2469258 Your picture is from a photoshoot though. She's wearing a totally matte look. Defined eyebrows, pale powder-foundation, peachy-pink eyeshadow as a wash, and blush on the hollows of her cheekbones, not on her apples. You're right, it does look more like brown liner, be sure to use the liquid or gel kind and make it thicker as you reach the outer edges. Use a pencil liner for the inner lids. Maybe a touch of brown eyeshadow on the outer half of the lower lid.

Rollagasper, I believe MAC Nightmoth lipliner was used in the Rodarte show.

Which colors and where from?

For the eye makeup I would use the colors in by Guerlain: Ombre eclat duo and liner 340 l'heure brune

1. Use the lightest eyeshadow all over the eyelid till the where your eyebrow starts, then fill in the darker brown one right over and a bit in your crease..then blend

2. Make a frame around your eye with the darker brown one and put a thin line under your eye which should be connected with the line around the crease.

3. Use a white eyeline on your wetline at the bottom of your eye and a black or dark brown eyeliner close to the eyelashes on the top of the lid.

4. Use a black mascara on you lids^^

5. Use a brown eyeshadow, like the one in Guerlain's 4 shadows l'heure brune 340 around the whole eye, see the picture for the thickness of the line.

6. Use a white liner on the wet line and a black on to line up your upper lid

7. curl your lashes and use mascara

I'm to tired to look for the colors that you could use for the 2nd look..I'll do it tomorrow.

Colored eyebrows?

I want to try a brightly colored eye brow for an event next week. I haven't decided on the color but it will most likely be a hot pink or a vivid blue. Has anyone ever tried this? If so, do you think a powder or cream color works best? I'm wondering if pasting them down with something white and then going over that with the color might work...

any ideas would be helpful!
