The Interior Decor Thread! #1

I don't decorate as much as I store things.. I like living in an organized mess. I guess once I have my own apartment, it will be different. I do love furniture. Currently I'm looking for an old red velvet chair and some antique frames for my artwall.

What a wonderful glimpse into your room StellaMare! Thanks so much for sharing on this thread.:flower: I adore the obsessively ordered fashion mags (reminds me of someone I know ) and you have a postcard of one of my fave Godard films placed by your mirror:heart: That green trinket...was that a vintage find or is it a family heirloom?

^^ A family heirloom of sorts.. I got it from my grandmother on my seventh birthday. It's very old, but pretty and I keep my jewellery in it.

omg ive been away waaayyyy too long from this thread! thanks for all of your inspiring posts on the last pages. especially love the ordered fashion mags, it looks amazing..

We definitely have similar taste when it comes to interior decor! ^_^ I actually posted some of those same exact photos here before (though don't worry, I'm not one of those people who minds a double post here and there. Besides it'd be hard, in an extensive thread like this, to go look at all the photos to see what has already been posted, so occasionally re- posting is totally understandable, I think. :flower:)

Thanks for sharing your photos finds, 1karina1! (By the way, is your name Karina, or is that just your user name?)

Karina is my username, after the great actress Anna Karina. She was absolute magic on the screen:heart:

a beautiful modern property in the heart of zug, austria.. the dining area is a bit too cold for my liking, but i just love that cosy attic place

This apartment in New York is so femininely chic. The pink is such an incredible eye-popping shade (It's Benjamin Moore's Razzle Dazzle) and I love the ikat fabric used on the chairs.

I see, thanks! What did it used to be, do you know?

Sill, I love the terrace you posted in #1215; what a delightful place to entertain friends on summer evenings!

^no, unfortunetaly i dont... a friend of mine is an estate agent and he said it kinda looks like it might have been the art studio or the working place of a painter or a sculptor, because its structure is not typical for an private apartment of that time. but thats just a guess ^_^

sill, those are lovely..thank you :-)
