Ok, so im going to move (again) to a studio appartment.
But i dont know what i should do, cause i love a big diningroom table.. love to sit with friends etc.. But i also want a normal bed, not a one person bed..and a place where i can sit and watch tv. But if i put in a double bed, a big diningroom table AND a sofa it wont fit.

HELP

^ why not get a smaller bed like a king single or a queen? or a sofa bed so u can have a sofa and a bed all in one! lol

yeay but i dont want a one person bed..i love a big bed with alot of cushions and stuff..
and a sofa bed doesnt work lol..i have one now and i broke it.:innocent:

^Queen is more than sizeable for one person! I share a full with my boyfriend, and it's sizeable as well.

ingetjuh, maybe using elements for partition could be helpful, like a paravent, a sideboard or a room divider. they give extra room for storage and make it possible to put the furniture closely together

I saw this image and I fell in love with the mobiles. They look like what happens when you pour ink into water and it creates these nebulous bubbles. And I know that a shagpile is very Austin Powers but here I think it really softens the retro furnishings.

I love the inky touches and the shag carpet too! And oh my, what do you call couches like the one in the photo?

I'm buying a new desk chair and I am seriously contemplating buying the lucite "ghost" chair. I saw one in my local store a few weeks back for a reasonable price. I have a frosted glass and stainless steel desk so I think it will complement it perfectly.

I like how this designer placed a patterned dining cushion on the chair bottom.

PV, I love the Louis Ghost Chair. Let me know if you get it. I've thought about getting some to use as dining chairs. I once saw them paired with an antique dining table in the now-defunct Domino Magazine, and it looked really cool.

how many square feet is it? Is it a square room? Is the kitchen separate or ?

Pingu! So sweet! Actually, the kind of functional yet sterile look brings to mind some of the settings of Jose Saramago's work.....

^ahahaha I love it!
I saw a couple of chairs in an antique store window and went back to see them and get the prices but they were completely different in my mind! now I'm obsessed with the ones in my mind and they dont even exist! Lol
