Does anyone know where I could find a "bathtub couch" similar to the one in Breakfast at Tiffany's? My friend is completely re-doing her apartment and has been on the lookout for one. I thought visiting this thread may give me some insight! =)

i thought it was interesting a lot of what she posts are in neutral colours
all washed out , light , soft..
i hear it's characteristic of scandinavia .. (Marimekko aside)

Marimekko is from Finland, Finland isn't in Scandinavia But it is true, washed out neutral colours are so very much Scandinavian

i wish i could but it says i have exceeded my attachment space... so am pretty confused as to how im suppose to upload pics. if i have to do it through a different server i wont have time so im bummed
hopefully a solution will be found soon
other than that my new blog will have some soon

leyla you can just download the imageshack toolbar (very small file)
it will appear in a Firefox web browser
you just drag your pictures into a button on the toolbar and it uploads instantly ~

i brought a book called '500 ideas for small space'
read from the back to the front and so far i read most of the furniture section. it's helpful and the images are great and giving you ideas

apartment therapy has their yearly 'best small apartment" or something like that competition and they post pics of entries all the time. I dont know if there is much else to it than just getting smaller furniture, and maybe hanging your tv on a wall to save space there.

edit: I just found it and it's called "small cool" and they're down to the finalists.
