Super, thanks for asking! We're in a process of buying a new apartment and selling the old one so I'm mainly decorating. I hope all is well with you as well :flower::heart:

and it's not too expensive either, around 300 dollars

I'd forgotten about this thread!
maarit the pic you posted above really spoke to me.... my parents have been in the building process of making me a little cottage as an addition to the house and the walls are all still concrete and that picture gave me such inspiration... just a touch of luxury here and there and it can be sooooooo beautiful!!!

Does anyone have any recs for the following:

Buying featherbeds online? I am looking for something to fit a futon...
Where to get interesting chairs?

i love decorating but i hate being stundent and not being able to buy all the things that you plan to buy :p my house is a mess and it really doesn't have any style since i haven't been able to find the things i want from second hand stores

Does anyone know about the company that makes wallpaper/posters that are like stickers? If you live in an apartment and put them on the wall, they peel off easily and won't ruin the wall.
I forget the name of the company, but I think it is an American company and they showed them on the Tyra Banks talk show sometime ago.

I think you can get some of their stuff at Urban Outfitters....http://www.uo.com also, rifle through the daily candy everywhere archives.....i'm pretty sure they cover something like that in there

:woot:Gorgeous rugs kentucky What kind of material is that (the white rug)... Never seen anything like it.

Love your post clavdiachau. I wonder how they're getting all those designs on there. Kind of looks like a transfer print. I can't imagine all of them being hand-painted---it's a bit much...!
Anyone have any ideas on how they put the prints on there? It must have been a certain method because a lot of the items there will be used for eating/drinking. I know I couldn't just use acrylics on a ceramic teapot I made in school... it would leak out poison.

From the designer:
the floor to heaven couture rug you are interested in is called "crystal",
it is hande made and accentured by handcarvings in 100% pure new zealand wools.
Each Design is especially made up to customers requirements,
so you can choose every Sizes and each color.
The delivery Time takes about 8 to 10 Weeks (depence on Size)
The Price is based on squaremeter (or squarefoot), and of course is related to the rugs final destination.
