I read that VV is going to be the new face of J.Lindeberg (replacing Juliette Lewis and Carl Barat), along with Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode!!!

DEPECHE MODE star Dave Gahan and Alison Mosshart of The Kills have replaced Juliette Lewis and Carl Barat in the new ad campaign for J. Lindeberg. Designer Johan Lindeberg has also designed Gahan's stage clothing for the band's forthcoming Playing the Angel world tour, music videos and press appearances. "We're a good fit," says Gahan, who posed for Steven Klein for the shots. "I've always loved his designs. I thought last season's Juliette Lewis and Carl Barat campaign was very effective and I'm excited about being involved with [this] campaign." Says J. Lindeberg: "It was very inspiring to create an entire wardrobe for Dave and to work with him and Alison Mosshart on our spring/summer 2006 campaign. I feel very connected with Dave as we both like to dress and express ourselves in the same way. I've always liked the dark and painful expression of Depeche Mode, still with a lot of light and hope." I love this band!

Saw them in DC in July and from the first note they played it was as if the entire audience stood on their tiptoes and leaned in. The power between the two of them is unreal.
Hotel looks like some on-the-brink automaton...ready to lash out but tightly controlled
VV is mesmerizing...just pure energy and exiduing cool.

i-D did a piece on VV a few months ago (maybe april?) about her muse-like status.

Lucky you, I wanted so much to see them in november when they came to my city, but it was the same day that my best friend 18th birthday party, so I missed The Kills . A boy I know who went told me that it was great.

Yeah, I'm 90% positive it is her. But hey now, don't exploit her myspace account or soon enough it will disappear. Apparently she's good friends with Jessica Stam according to that myspace.

Anyways, I freaking love The Kills. I want to see them so badly but they're too big to play up in Canada. So, I'm depending on Coachella however there seems to be a small chance of me attending. BOO!
