The Last TV Show You Saw?

Two episodes into Downton Abbey and I'm hooked. If someone had told me my beloved Charlie Cox was in it (being gay!), I probably would have watched it sooner. It's all the posh british drama I never knew I needed!

A month later I'm on season five and it's become a new favorite of mine! I never would've thought I'd enjoy the show as much as I did. Although I shall never forgive how they broke my heart with season three finale, that was just ruthless.

My latest obsession is Marvel's Moon Knight. An instant favorite Marvel project, Oscar is absolutely brilliant and the show had me hooked from the very intro. Very interesting story with amazing characters, it's become something I impatiently anticipate each week!

Started watching Anatomy of a Scandal on Netflix last night and already obsessed... a total must-watch!

Just watched the first two episodes of The First Lady which airs on Showtime in America, and I am thoroughly enjoyed it.

Michelle Pfeiffer is utterly brilliant as Betty Ford, as is Gillian Anderson as Eleanor Roosevelt and despite the critics panning Viola Davis' portrayal of Michelle Obama, I'm enjoying it. My only complaint is that I now have to wait until Sunday to watch episode three!

Just finished Cobra Kai, also getting close to finishing Billions. Still got a huge list of other stuff to work through though!

I've started the second season of Russian Doll, the newest season of Better Things, and the new Kardashians show. Seems like there's been an embarrassment of riches when it comes to TV this spring, but I've just not been in the mood or I've been slightly busier than usual and so show after show I wanted to see for the past few months has gone unwatched. Moon Knight, Anatomy of a Scandal, The First Lady, Gaslit, Tokyo Vice, Julia, Pachinko, Severance, Life & Beth, Killing Eve, etc.

I'm trying, and failing, to fully get into "Russian Doll". It's an okay show, but what really piques my interest are the costumes. Round of applause to whomever's in charge of that part.

I loved the first season of Russian Doll, but the second season didn't work as well for me. I found the historical storyline pretty boring.

I'm now watching the final leg of Grace and Frankie, and as always, the ensemble and the writing are fantastic. Very sad to be saying goodbye to this show after 7 years though! What a fantastic run!

Emily in Paris ~ fabulous binge
Julia ~ enjoyable
The Flight Attendant ~ surprisingly great
Troppo ~ Australian drama - kinda clunky but I enjoyed it.
The First 48 hrs ~ true crime junkie.
:D

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season fourteen premiere and episode three of The First Lady.

I have finished watching Halston. I loved the actress who played Elsa. What a beautiful woman. She looked amazing in that fur coat.

The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes on Netflix. A brilliant watch! Nothing we didn't already know about Marilyn, but an interesting watch all the same. Now off to Google all her photographs by Bert Stern...

Everybody should watch The Flight Attendant
It is great ~ Kaley Cuoco is surprisingly amazing.

Old Enough, this absolutely adorable reality show (didn't think those words were possible in the same sentence lol) about toddlers in Japan running errands for the first time. I just finished the episode where a kid of 2 years and 10 months takes his dad's chef's whites to the dry cleaners up the road, it's just unbelievably cute.

The last tv show I finished was Run BTS, which is a variety/game show featuring the members of BTS playing games and winning prizes/penalties. One of the episodes involved them debating with each other about whether mint chocolate was good or bad, only they had these water guns in front of them that would go off and shoot them in the face with water if they said a certain 'trigger word' (different for each member, chosen for each by the other members, and only the one who said it gets soaked). My stomach hurt from laughing so much by the end of that episode.... laughs are welcome these days.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The First Lady (which I am obsessed with - could do with whole series just on Betty Ford alone).

I absolutely loved the first season, but haven’t gotten around to seeing the second season yet. How does it hold up?

I've been obsessed with Maxine's pyjamas in S1E2 since 2019.. the ones she's wearing with a sort of floral chinoiserie-looking pattern at the breakfast table? They look amazing.

^I honestly had low expectations for the second season considering that the plot of the first really felt like a limited series material, but I'll admit I'm thoroughly enjoying the mystery and Cassie's emotional baggage of the second season. It holds up surprisingly well!

And the men of the second season are something else oop

Totally agree.
I never binge ~ I watch one episode a night kinda gal but I binged this. It was so enjoyable to me :-)

Well I finished The Flight Attendant & I had to find another show to enjoy
Julia ~ it is! Two episodes in & it is very nifty.
I think I’m going to buy a cook book & provide some new experiences for the family :D
