Slowly going through The Sopranos season 6, I don't want it to end. I'm only on episode 2. Ughhh... so good. I even can't wait to watch the sh*tty prequel film.
I attempted to watch Yellowjackets season 3 and yeah, that ain't happening... why did I love this show too much during it's first season? Season 2 was dreadful, what was I expecting?
I binged some true crime sh*t this weekend, too... Devil in the Family: the Fall of Ruby Franke (wtf was with the husband... why is no one holding him accountable?). Now I'm starting Scamanda, I listened to the podcast last year or the year before, it's so weird to see the podcaster being interviewed. It's a good content for the background.

I, Claudius for the first time, which was sooooo good. At first I thought the production values looked soo cheap, but once I got over it... it was amazing! "IS THERE ANYONE IN ROME WHO HAS NOT SLEPT WITH MY DAUGHTER!?!?!?"

is anyone else finding the development really boring this season? i mean, it's packed with potentially explosive storylines, but it's DRAAAAAGGGIIIIING. at this point i don't really care what happens in the last episode as it's clear that SOMETHING's gonna.

Just finished the Leopard/Il gattopardo. A decent telling of the famous story and the cinematography was stunning. Not sure about all of the casting but Deva, the daughter of Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel, is a star.

I know everyone's saying this season is boring, but I'm enjoying it. Certain storylines are more interesting than others, but I'm always engaged. There are so many loose threads, it'll be interesting to see how everything gets wrapped up in an hour or less next week.

My theory:
Mook is going to wind up being a big culprit. They haven't done anything w/ her storyline, and I can't imagine why they'd hire a world-famous k-pop star (she's probably more internationally known than anybody else in the whole 3 seasons), and not give her a significant storyline. I may just be imagining things here.

yeah i think it was genious to cast her. but maybe it was just a nice coincidence given it's set in thailand, no?
i hear that the creative team was struggling with the final cut, a lot of footage was allegedly scraped due to political reasons and so the result feels bland. we'll see!

This is true. Since it is set in Asia, it makes sense to cast a native Asian performer (and not an Asian-American performer, like Awkwafina).
Natasha Rothwell reminds me of the girl who went to prom w/ the all the gay guys, so I hope she's not floatin' in the water at the end.

she equals tanya on so many levels, don't you think? I loved her in the first season and it's so great that she's got to shine in this one.
any bets on what happens though? i'm so exhausted of it at this point i have no clues! haha

I bet that Valentin will get cast in many more projects here in America, where he'll be required to take off his shirt.
Seriously, I can't tell what will happen next. The 3 ladies friend-group will come to an end, inevitably. But beyond that, I don't know.

Yes, 8 episodes that could have been 6. Too much unnecessary arcs. The brought Belinda for nothing, like girl tf are you doing, why didn't you called the police the moment you knew??? The plot with Pornchai is 'meh', same with the balding guy and his boring revenge, and Mook is just a paint in the wall. My predictions: Chelsea diva will be one with the Ocean, same with Valentin and his friends, and the Ratfliffs are gonna be ok: zaddy is not going to jail and the evil twink will stay with the budist. This has to be the end for Greg, 3 season of him has to be enough.
