Yes they always take their product back if you get it home and dont like it, I dropped my studio fix one time and it crumbled so I sent them an email from their website, I got an email a couple days later asking for my address and color I wore, they shipped me out a new one free of charge!

they're very accomidating with exchanges, returns. one time, i went back to return a fluidline eyeliner in waveline and the girl asked if i was sure because every single return, they throw away. i was so shocked because i always thought that the used it as testers. she said that it was because of bacteria and sanitary purposes.

thats a shame, what a waste of good product but i just couldnt bring myself to NOT exchange it because that liner was so horrible...

Jasmine:
I have extremely oily, sensitive acne prone skin and MAC had me try studio tech, it made me breakout, I took it back into the counter and they gladly exchanged it for me. I am currently using LORAC foundation and I still use MAC Studio Fix powder in spots where I need extra coverage.

Mandarines: When I first bought brushes I bought a set from Sephora a few years ago, I have since added some MAC brushes also, to make sure your brushes last you, wash them once a week, MAC makes a brush cleaner, or you can use a shampoo to clean your brushes also.

Fashionista-ta
I have the prep and prime and it works well, it has a silicone base to it so it smoothes out your face. It assists in oil control a bit also.

Anyone try some of the stuff from the LE "Who's that lady?" stuff?

I'm thinking of picking up some of the new colors of Lip gelee... they look pretty..

Thanks everyone for the primer info, esp that it helps with oil control ... exactly what I need B) :flower: I'm gonna buy some next time I'm at the mall, any mall ...

Has anyone seen or tried the new "whos that lady" collection? I wanna know...!!

Could anyone tell me whether you can purchase MAC on an online store for the UK? The offical MAC site is not up and running for us yet :( and I can't always find the time to go out shopping for it.
By the way, this is my first ever post :flower:

Willkommen nextposterchild!

Are their kohl liners any good. They seem to get quite negative reviews on MUA, like they smudge too much, don't last long etc. so I'm just wondering, are they any good?

The who's that lady stuff isn't that great... all of the lipglosses have sparkles in them... which i'm not too fond of...

Welcome :flower:

You could try E-Bay (if you buy from the States be aware that UK customes might charge you duty and sales tax)

Also www.strawberrynet.com is an option ( they claim to repay you if you are charged sales tax, not sure if its true - but I have an order with them so I guess time will tell ^_^ )

^I've tried their green cleanser gel. Overall I would not say it is the best product I've ever tried, or available on the market, but it's decent enough for its cause (to remove make up), although afterwards, my skin often feels a little tense, dry and stretched, so I have to slap on a whole load of moisturizing crap....

grrr i know!! goddamit i want my mac but have to travel ages to get it!!

Thank you all for your replies! ^_^ I will definatley try those sites suggested, probably this weekend because I'm getting desperate! - I know what you mean Indie, I live in the country and the biggest shop in my town is the newsagents. I need to get out of here!
Just another quick question, I've never used a MAC foundation as I've been pretty happy with my Laura Mercier, but I've recently gone from blonde to brunette and think a change of foundation is in order...I'm only 19 so my skin doesn't need anything too heavy (although I do get break outs now and then which I need to cover :( ) and can get quite oily. Can anyone suggest anything worth trying? Thanks again :flower:

^ I went to the store where they sell MAC and they were more than willing to give me a generous amount :flower:

I know this must sound really dumb, but is there anything i need to apply before trying to apply the pigments? I'm very new to this pigment thingy.:p

Personally i have never bought from strawberrynet, but i know other people who have and if you send them the taxes sheet they refund the money paid. :)
They sure have great prices don´t they? ^_^

i've always loved how nicole extends her eyeliner and it has become her trademark. im not sure if nicole used fluidline in this pic, but in one of the episodes of simple life i saw her holding a glass pot when she did paris' eyeliner. so i assume it's mac fluidline she used in this pic. what color from fluidline could this be? hope you could help me guys, thanks a bunch!
