I suppose you're asking about the Pro Longwear lipcolors:) I have one of those, in Roller Derby (from the Raquel Welch Icon collection) and I love it. It really stays put, even after eating and doesn't dry lips at all. And the topcoat gives it an almost unreal shine, which you have to reapply of course.

I was also bit scared of them, because my lips dry out easily, but Roller Derby is such a beautiful color, a peachy-bronze, that I had to have it and no regrets:heart:

Yes indeed I was^_^

I got mine in "Permapink" and I love it....although my lips feel dry after I remove it. I agree though that it does stay put no matter what. I will definatly buy again.

The rest of my recent Mac haul includes:

"Shawdowy Lady" eyeshadow in matte

Liquid eyeliner in "Boot Black"

Brush number 219

Brush number 316

Okay I hestitated asking this question because it's almost embarassing and it just shows how much I actually shop at MAC ..but do they provide samples for pigments? I really want to try the Teal pigment but I doubt I'd even use a quarter of the amount they have in that jar and therefore I couldn't justify spending that much on it. I'm asking because if they don't give out samples, I'll have to resort to eBay

:flower:

They do give you samples out of the pigment testers, you just have to ask and it might depend on the SA, so it's better to buy some items and ask for a sample

Could anyone recommend a MAC shadow or pigment that'd be similar to Versace's extremely pretty Spring 2005 look? Pat McGrath described the shade as "golden apricot". I suppose Melon pigment comes close?

I just got a Strange & Exotic lustre lipstick from the Strange Hybrid collection, as well as a bronze eyeshadow whose name I can't remember

I have the melon pigment and I would say it's close....
but just a bit more orange-y than the makeup in those pics.

Tried the new lipstick, and it's great ... if you like plum & sparkle, run, do not walk, to your nearest MAC counter ...

The shadow is Star Violet, and is just what I had in mind ^_^

i saw on the mac website that they sell brushes seperately. are they sold in sets as well?

You can just buy it at the MAC boutiques. Its open for anybody that wants to buy the wider range of colours.

I would actually use some samoa silk on the whole lid, and then use the melon pigment, so the orange comes through more ;)

I'm not 100% sure, but I think brush sets are only sold as part of the Holiday collections each year. They are cheaper than buying them separately, but the quality is also lower. On my brushes from the set it says "Made in China", whereas the regular ones are from France.
The Couture collection last fall also had a brush roll, but there the only extra was the roll, otherwise the price was the same as getting the brushes alone.

Moonbathe is coming out soon, I can't wait to see them in person:p

The latest MAC collection is just amazing. I love it! I've been on a makeup buying "break" but I broke it just for this collection. They've finally brought the Skinfinishes back and I just love those things. They're the absolute best product - maybe my favorite thing that MAC makes. And the ones with this collection are very pretty. There are two fleshtones and one rose shade that makes a lovely blush. The Mineralize eyeshadows are very pretty as well but I didn't go home with any yesterday.

I may also have to go back to get some of the C Shock stuff. It looks BANANAS. I completely slept on that collection so I was shocked to see it in stores. All the colors are such intense neons. Very cool.

I'm tempted by that blue lipstick...
