The Mascara Thread

Hey guys :) I needed a waterproof mascara before that won't run at the beach in hot weather or if you go for a quick swim... The Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen is what you recomended... but I was looking to buy and they have: "LASH QUEEN FELINE BLACKS WATERPROOF" and "LASH QUEEN WATERPROOF" and "SPECTACULAR MASCARA WATERPROOF"
which is the best for waterproof-ness?

^They're all equally good. I've tried all of them (back in the days when I wasn't broke )

I use Chanel "Exceptionnel De Chanel" in "Smoky Violine", which is a really dark purple. I love this mascara. Onto my 2nd tube.

Don't like Dior Show one bit.

Hmmm so they are all equally waterproof? The waterproof-ness of it is what is most important to me.. But whats your favourite out of them in texture and application then? :flower: I need some help deciding on which I should order^_^

Of course they're equally waterproof  I personally like Lash Queen the best :flower: Spectacular lengthens, Lash Queen gives volume (they actually do that, lol)

i hardly ever use mascara.
(usually i dye my eyelashes and they are quite long and full anyway so i dont really need it)
but i absolutely love clinique's high impact mascara!

I agree with you!^
I have two, the w/p version and the normal. The w/p is good but it is an absolute pain to remove and it makes my lashes very dry and thin, so I only use it for special occasions.

Why the hell can't I get that effect?? It's rubbish on me!

It's also the way you apply it :)
I like to make sure there isn't too much mascara on the wand with any mascara I use. Also I often apply a few coats brush it through with a lash brush and then apply a few more coats, helps me build up length with out getting the clumpy effect

OMG I went to the printemps in paris asking for the shiseido curler and they dont even have it there the girl looked at me like what are you talkin about lol Thats crazy I dont understand why they dont sell it in Paris
