DNA models and Models.com

Whats the deal with models.com? On the top 50, every Dna model has had their picture taken off of their website for a few weeks now, whoever does the chart has also been changing their descriptions. Something must be going on between the 2, it seems pretty petty.

The usual descriptions go as:

Her impeccable runway turns for Marc Jacobs, Prada and Balenciaga paid off both editorially and on the campaign front for Hye Park. Trump's latest ace goes to show that an amazing girl will blaze her own path through the market.

If models were stocks, this stunning newcomer is what you call "instant blue chip". She's gorgeous, walks the runway like a veteran and brings a light and a joy to the sets she graces. Brace yourself for a major, major catwalk season on this Nataliya!

She was the first run girl for Jil Sander's S/S 04 ads as well as one of the enviable faces of Burberry that season. Now after a massive catwalk season,and regular stints in US Vogue,Lily Donaldson is ready to take on all comers as the next girl most wanted. London calling! Campaigns FW 05: Burberry.

But now every DNA model has a description such as these:

The beautiful Kim Noorda continues to be a show season favorite.

Revise, remix, re-model, the plot worked perfectly for Missy.

Marija is a beautiful new contender, much loved by her clients.

Raquel Z has become the Queen Of the Comeback, especially in Europe.

Elise has locked her place as a must have editorial queen.

The same exact thing is happening on the mens top 50. Does anybody know whats going on?

if you check out the top 50 at models.com , you'll see every model has an overentusiastic description with a pic except for every dna model.

Speaking of models.com, Angela Lindvall and Crawford were taken off the "icons" list and replaced by Erin W. and...someone...tres weird.

Besides that site sucks. They can't do math. There's life 70 girls in their top 50 models. Top 50 models = 50 girls.

lol love this! I was interested about this too, because you'd think if anything DNA would want exposure for their girls, like every other agency... the only reason I think Cindy and Angela were taken off was because their campaigns weren't good enough. I haven't seen them much (or at all, really) and I guess they are keeping the space open for current supermodels. Still, I don't see how they work it all out....

... they indeed have more than 50 girls in their top 50.. because they have lots of ties

In the normal world at least.. like in sporting events or anything thats a competition... it would go...

I have no complaints though.. I figure models.com is just trying to give the maximum amount of exposure to as many girls possible

And Yes Yourbestfriend.. I did notice the pictures things.. I didn't realize it was only DNA girls though.. I thought something was just wrong with my computer

Well in the olympics.. I know if you have a tie for second place.. you'd just have one gold medalist.. two silver medalists and no bronze... the only way you could have 4 people on the podium is if you had a tie for bronze... or something like that

Im still wondering whats up with the 2, feuding maybe...or maybe DNA hasnt been giving mysterious cash to models.com like the other agencies, or so they say. Notice heavy favourtism for certain agencies on models.com?

Off topic I know.. but I wonder why Gemma isn't #1.. I think her time is coming.. very soon.. especially since Daria was a no show in NY/Milan/Paris.. maybe she had another cold sore... I kid I kid ... Miss Daria is probably just exploring other things I know.. but its really Gemma's moment to be #1

I think Daria is still #1 because she seems to be alot more powerful than Gemma. Daria is able to skip an entire season yet it feels shes still around, heavily. But for some reason i feel if Gemma missed a whole season it would hurt..a bit.

And Daria has her estee lauder thing, which is supposed to be a really big deal.

Hmm maybe thats true... but Gemma has CK Obsession Night also... which isn't as big as Estee Lauder.. but its at least shown in non-fashion magazines..

I think a reason why Gemma isn't as BIG as Daria is that she's a part of a wave of some sort... the Bugs... her look is entirely her own.. but I feel sometimes maybe if she left.. someone might just take her place.. or some people.. Vlada + Sasha = Gemma

That said.. I still think Gemma should be #1.. just because lol... couldn't they just give it to her for like.. 2 weeks... i'm sure Daria wouldn't mind.. she's probably too busy sailing across the world with her brother

yeah. it's funny that many ppl actually rely and use models.com to obtain their info when the site doesn't even give how they ranked the models and stuff like that....
