I love that each area still has a definite infuence on the style, i.e.: the kids from ATL clearly have been influenced by hip-hop, and you can def. tell the cobrasnake apart from the misshapes. I think the Europeans are more refreshing, and the whole scene style seems to come more naturally to them.
I dunno, there is still something about the "scene" that I am drawn to. I guess I love the "rawness" of how some of the people dress. I like that no one is perfectly polished, and its refreshing that they are not blindly following trends (however, I may have a feel differently if I was from NY or LA where the scene style is very popular). I'd also like to think that they are really wearing what they like, not solely trying to fit in with the whole "indie/scene movement".
^^^ i must say i had that hair ages ago, now sporting a slightly different version i am in no way scenester but i see so many people converting to some sort of bob its annoying
#3251 , 5th picture, girl on the right? Interesting sitting position
In any case, I loooove her shoes and dress-like thing!
And is it me or does it feel as if there's a loss of interest in the "scene"? I'm judging from the declining popularity of this thread, but I could be totally mistaken
there's a 'scene'ish kind of club near me, i decided one evening to venture into it. god. these people are miserable and need about 4 rounds of drink before they get out of the toilets applying their make up and go dance.
