even though it is a relatively mild winter so far, i am gearing up for full on freezing and have been thinking about legwarmers and shearling footwear a lot lately...

Thank you. I hope it all arrives by the end of the year! I ordered one of the AA skirts from Amazon, and they predict delivery on Dec. 22nd at the soonest, January at the latest. It's AA handling the shipping, however, so it should be some time in December. I hope!

I do, too, especially in plaid. I'm only hoping that they will be mini on me!

I just picked up some small things from the Claire's 30% off sale. I think I will stop shopping now until my next payment! (12 days to go.)

Well when you did it, you did it right! They're really beautiful. I really miss Barney's (the location here) ... the housewares were always beautiful to look at.


I have my original stainless set that I bought early on, and then I also have a silver pattern I started collecting later. That kind of happened accidentally when I needed some additional serving pieces and got on eBay to find some silver at a reasonable price. My set was $99.99, maybe from the Neimans or Horchow catalog, someplace like that ... Reed & Barton.


I did have some awful hand-me-down stuff, but the metallic taste convinced me I needed to do something else pronto
