At Christmas today someone mentioned having not gotten any fuzzy socks, and I also regretted not having got a pair of these for myself, so I ordered two pair plus some Fair Isle ones for birthday gifting a bit later on. They're sold out of the hot pink/black/white penguin ones I got for a friend ...

iPad Air 2 in black (b/c they're 25% off at Best Buy, and there was no way I was gonna keep the Fitbit that my brother/sister-in-law bought me for Christmas when I could exchange it for credit toward something that I actually want to use)....

*turns out these drop crotch things are good for me cause i just hike 'em up to my waist and it's more like a high waisted pant on me...not so much a drop crotch~

that almost always happens with my fam...
my mom almost always gives me whatever she doesn't want/like from whoever...
so- i always gift her something that i definitely like...
just in case she gives it back to me...
one thing she never gives back is anything from uniqlo...
which i kinda wish she would...

is it becoming more of a thing or is it just best buy trying to stay in business?!

As part of my continuing quest, this blouse from Resort ... love the design, wish there were more of a color selection. The only other color I've seen is a green that I feel is just not me. From this collection, I've just seen one other pair of shoes I may be interested in ... in addition to the snake ones I've already bought. I saw in the look photos a matching bag, but haven't seen it anywhere yet (not that I need a matching bag). Not sure anyone bought it?

The iPad Air 2 is a flat $125 off regardless of the GB.... If you get it with 16 GB, which is what I did, then it's 25% off.... The percentage would be a little smaller for 32 and 64.... Tablet sales are down though b/c they generally last at least several years (i.e., people don't upgrade tablets as often as they do smartphones); hence, certain stores have sales to get rid of 'em....

I feel more "guilty" about buying the iPad (which I needed) than all of the outerwear (which I wanted).... I'll wear the coats and jacket for well over a decade (maybe even two); the tablet will be near useless in four years....
